Becca Back Light Priming Filter & Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme

Becca is a brand I haven't really heard of until the Shimmering Skin Perfector highlighters hit the lime light. Then every product from the brand started to appeal to me. With base products being my thing and the promises of weightless coverage, air brush effects and luminousity, I parted with my cash and here I am:

Becca Back Light Priming Filter | £32

I'm slowly becoming obessed with anything that promises to act like a filter on the skin. This is an illuminating primer, that hides signs of fatigue, contains light difussing particles to blur imperfections and give a lit from within glow. Now, I was debating buying this because my greatly loved Sleek Bare Skin Iumminator does a similar thing at less than half the price. But I bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did. This gives my skin a beautiful glow that I've never experienced from any other product (and I've tried a fair few illuminating products). It glides onto the skin so effortlessly, smoothing imperfections, leaving behind a radiant glow and perfect base for makeup. Makeup sits beautifully on top, it prolongs wear..  I cant recommend this enough. It is certainly worth every 3200 pennies!

Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Crème | £34

Now I just had to get a foundation along with the primer and this is one to tickled my fancy. A full coverage foundation, that is light weight and breathable and promises to give an air brush finish; ticks all the boxes for me. And this really does what it promises. I rarely like full coverage foundations because they tend to be matte and to drying for my dehydrated skin. But this isn't drying in the slightest. It melted into my skin with minimal effort (I used my Real Techniques Buffing brush) The finish is satin and looks very natural. This covered all my redness and scaring without any need for concealer and my skin did look flawless and non cakey. Its also stayed perfect all day too; it didn't crease anywhere!

Overall, I'm really impressed with both of these. They're pricy but definitely worth the investment. I definitely want to try more from Becca. Their Aqua Luminous Foundation is next on my list.
