Makeup Lately

This month I've testing so many new things, I haven't been reaching for one thing consistently. But I have managed to gather a few things I've reached for over others. So here is my makeup lately:

This was something I reached for over the latter end of January and the beginning of February. I've become a bit primer obessed and my collection has grown significantly this year. This primer is inspired by the golden glow of honey, and contains honey, along with gold flecks to give a radiant glow. It also contains collegen, for its skin care benefits and to smooth the skin. The serum-y, oil like texture feels like a skin care product but smooths the skin like a primer. This doesn't really give that over the top glow factor (that I normally like) but this really smooths the skin, to allow easy makeup application.

Bourjois City Radiance | £9.99                                                                                  POST

I'm sucker for anything brightening, radiance boosting and glow enhancing. And this foundation has it all. A beautifully radiant foundation, with medium coverage with added skin benefits. This a good all round foundation

I cant believe it took me so long to buy this. I really like, I could even like it a tiny bit more than my trusty Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. I use this under my eyes to conceal dark circles and highlight the area. This one is far more creamy than the Urban Decay one and doesn't set as well as Naked Skin. Which I actually prefer for under the eyes. This doesn't crease or fade, so it's been my go to!

This a relatively new purchase which I've been reaching for over the past week. Before that I was using my Collection Contour Kit, but I wont bore you about that I've raved about it so much. I love this contour pan! Its brilliant, it so easy to blend and super pigmented like the Makeup Geek eye shadows. I have the shade Half Hearted. Which has warm under tones, which suits me perfectly! Definitly check these out, there are 8 shades and are brilliant quality, yet affordable!

For shadow I've been reaching for my makeup geek shadows in the shade Cosmopolitan (a beautiful rose gold shade) Blended out with a mix Latte (a matte medium brown) and the warmed toned brown in the Makeup revolution palette. These 3 shadows give me a lovely warm toned rose gold eye look that I've been loving lately!

Sleek Solstice Palette | £9.99                                                                                   POST

I've been neglecting all of my other highlighters since buying this. This palette gives a serious glow! If you want people to know you're wearing highlighter, this is the palette for you. It has 3 powder highlights and one cream formula. I prefer the powders ones, they're creamy, well pigmented, easy to blend and stay in place all day.

For blush I've been reaching for this beauty. Although I'm unsure of what this actually is, Malani say it can be used as a highlighter or a bronzer - but its far to pink. I think it works well as a blush. It gives a beautiful pale pink flushed look to the cheeks with a subtle shimmer.

I'm fully on board with the whole liquid lipstick thing at the moment. And I've been reaching for this lovely pink-y mauve nude colour from Sleek. The formula of this is slightly more drying on the lips than other liquid lipsticks but if I apply a lip balm before, its less drying. And I just love the shade! Once this has set, its not budging until you want it to!

What makeup have you been reaching for lately?

Until next time...
