With a Charlotte Tilbury wish list as long as my arm, I subtly dropped some hints to my loved one and on valentines day he kindly brought me the Magic Foundation and this lipstick in the shade Bitch Perfect. I love a nude lipstick and after hearing so many good things about the K.I.S.S.I.N.G line it was love at first sight.
Just look at that beautiful rose gold packaging, it oozes luxury and sophistication! The shade itself a lovely muted coral colour pink under tones. This glides onto the lips so easily and has a comfortable creamy formula that has a slight sheen to it. To be honest I prefer matte formulas over satin/ glossier ones, but this lasted a good 3-4 hours. I was so excited to try this lipstick but as soon as applied it recognised the shade straight away! Its almost exactly the same as L'Oreal Color Rich in the shade Evas nude lipstick. In the bullet they look slightly different, Bitch Perfect is more pinky in tone than Evas Nude, but on the lips you can't tell the difference. The Formula of the Loreal one is basically the same too. Creamy, opaque and has a subtle sheen finish!
Left Charlotte Tilbury. Right Loreal Color Riche in the shade Eva Nude.
As you can see from the swatches they are pretty much identical! The only difference is the packaging. The Loreal packaging is no where near as nice or pleasing on the eye. But in terms of cost Evas nude is £6.99 and Bitch Perfect is an eye watering £23!
If you have the spare cash and fancy treating yourself than the Charlotte Tilbury is a lovely luxury lipstick. But if you looking for a cheaper alternative, head over to the L'Oreal stand!
Have you tried either of these? What are you thoughts?
Until next time...
