April has flown by (shocker) but the begining of the month seems like ages ago, strange - I know. But have a quite a few things I've been loving throughout month. So here I am to share them with you guys...
Kielhs Mid Night Recovery Oil | £37
I've wanted to try this for the longest time and at the beginning of the month I finally took the plunge and brought it. I haven't looked back. This stuff is amazing and really lives up the hype it gets. As it's an oil I use it night and in the morning my skin is left so smooth, soft and radiant looking. It's packed full of potent ingredients to nourish the skin while sleep. I couldn't be without this now!
La Roche Posay Ultra Toleriane | £17.50
This was a bit of whim purchase, thanks to an offer in Boots. And my gosh this stuff is brilliant. The Toleriane line is aimed at people with sensitive skin. I don't overly have sensitive skin but this month my skins been having a bit of a freak out - its not been pretty. So I wanted something no fuss that would hydrate skin and not cause more breakouts. This really nourishes my skin without being overly thick. It absorbs instantly and left soft, smooth skin all day. I can't recommend this enough and I definitly want to check out more from the line!
Rimmel Insta Flawless | £6.99
Regular readers skip past this, because you all already know how much I love this! It's a primer that is tinted so offers a better coverage. And leaves skin with a smooth beautiful glow! This has pretty much been my go to primer. You can read more about here.
Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done | £25
Another product that I've been raving about recently so I wont go on about this too much. Its lightweight, easy to blend has a light to medium coverage but amazingly blurs imperfections and has the added skincare benefits. It lasts all day. Theres not much this little baby doesn't do!
Makeup Geek shadow pans | £4.95 & £7.95
This again will came as no surprise to regular readers but I've been loving this. I'm sure you've all already heard of the amazing quaility of these shadows - buttery soft, blend with ease, super pigmented, all at an afforable price. My favourite shades are:
Rapunzel - A shimmery champagne. Perfect as an inner corner or brow brown highlight. But I really like this as base colour.
Creme Brulee - A matte warm toned brown. Perfect crease colour.
Latte - A matte cool toned brown. Another perfect crease colour.
Frappe - A medium, warm toned brown.
Cocoa Bear - A warm toned reddish brown. Great for deepening the crease, outer v or all over the lid and lower lash line.
Morocco - A burnt orange colour. I love this in crease, paired with Flame Thrower.
Cherry Cola - This is a deep warmed toned, reddish brown. I love this in the crease and outer v.
Grandstand - This is a foil finish and these are so creamy - they don't feel like powders at all. And this shade is stunning Rose Coppery colour. A perfect lid shade.
Flame Thrower - Another foil finish. The shade is beautiful coppery bronze colour. This again looks amazing all over the lid.
See this post for some of the shades swatched.
L'Oreal Sculpt Blush | £7.99
This blush has the most amazing finish. It leaves the cheeks with a lovely glowy radiance, thats not over the top but not to subtle - I just love it. I have the shade Nude Bronze, which is a bronzy colour and just looks so nice on the cheeks. Head over to this post to read more about the L'Oreal Sculpt range.
Essence Lip Liner and NYX Butter Gloss | £1 & £5.50
I've been loving the essence lip liner paired with the NYX Butter gloss in the shade Madeleine. Madeleine is a perfect mid toned brown nude with gloss finish. And the lip liner is lovely mauve-y purple colour and these two paired together make a beautiful Mauve toned nude. The lip liner also helps the gloss last longer, but I still get the low maintenance fuss, free benefits of gloss.
NYX Lip Lingeries | £6.50
No surprises again for regular readers (Sorry guys) but when I haven't been wearing the above lip combo I've been wearing this in the shade Exotic. These Lip Lingeries have a brilliant liquid lipstick formula, long lasting, great colour pay off and non drying. For that reason I've been loving it! Read about it and see in action here.
So thats everything I've been loving. What have you been loving? Have you tried any of these?
Until next time...
