Valentines Day Pamper Inspo | Staying in or Going Out

I feel like Valentines day is probably the most controversial holiday (is it even a holiday?). Some people love it, some people hate it. I personally don't mind it, if my husband wants to buy gifts, I'm not going to say no! But if your staying in, going out with the girls, spending it with loved ones or going on a date; I have put together a little edit...

Staying in...

What better day is there than Valentines day as an excuse to pamper yourself? A few of my favourite pamper products are:

Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose & Shea Butter Body Butter* | £24.99

After a nice long shower I like to pamper myself with a nice body butter. I've been really enjoying this one from Dr Botanicals. First of all it smells amazing (I'm rubbish at describing scents so you'll just going to have to take my word for it, but I promise it does) and the smell lasts a good day on the skin! The cream is quite thick, but not as thick as some body butters, but it absorbs really quick, leaving my skin silky soft. This also works really well under false tan. Dr. Botanicals are having a huge sale on their Moroccan Rose range and you can get an additional 20% of with the code LPBLOG.

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask | £19.95 | POST

A pamper evening wouldn't be complete without a face mask. This one from Antipodes is brilliant. If I don't want to address a particular skin concern this is what I reach for. It's super hydrating and has anti bacterial properties if breakouts are an issue. I like to apply a thick layer and leave it on for 15 minutes. After removal my skin is so soft and smooth!

Essie Nail Paint | £7.99

Next up I like to paint my nails. And Fiji is one of my favourites shades. It's a beautiful milky, pale Pink. Essie polishes are my favourite for shine and for how long they wear.

Going Out...

La Girl HD Pro Coverage Illuminating Foundation | £11 | POST

Whether I'm going out with the girls or on a date I want a flawless, glowing base. And this Foundation is perfect for that. It has a good medium, build-able coverage; that's super easy to blend. It has has a really nice glow-y finish. I don't find this dries my skin out either and it lasts all day or night on me! I can't recommend this enough.

Kat Von D Lock It Concealer | £20 | POST

For highlighting under the eyes and ensuring dark circles are completely covered this concealer is perfect. It's so full coverage, but it's creamy and blend-able. It sits well under eyes without creasing or cracking. It also works well over blemishes. If your looking for a full coverage concealer, this is for you.

Hourglass Surreal Light Palette | £69 | POST`

To set everything down I love the powder from the Surreal Light Palette. It gives the skin a gorgeous glow, while setting everything and ensuring it wont move. It never looks cakey or natural on the skin. It's just an amazing powder. This palette also contains blushes. My favourite is Surreal Glow. It's a lovely Pink colour with subtle shimmers running through it. This instantly makes me look more a alive and radiant.

BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette | £18.00

This palette houses 10 eyeshadows and 4 highlighters. The highlighters are incredible - so soft and pigmented! My favourite highlighter is the second shade from the left. It's a stunning Champagne shimmer that catches the light so well. These highlighters aren't for the faint hearted but if you love a good glow, this is great.

The shadows are really good too. It has a good mix of mattes and shimmers. Most of which are Browns, Coppers and natural shades. They are soft, pigmented and blend-able. This is great for creating a Valentines day eye look.

L'oreal False Lash Sculpt | £9.99 | POST

I'm not really one for false lashes so a good mascara is essential. This mascara is perfect for creating long fluttery lashes! It has a plastic comb wand that catches all the lashes, creating long volumuous lashes. The formula also doesn't smudge or flake.

Lottie London Slay All Day Lip Kit | £8.95 | POST

I don't think you can beat a good nude lip regardless of if your going out out or on a date. It's pretty low maintenance and there's minimal chance of it smudging around your face. The Lottie London Lip kit in the shade Fleek is perfect! The lip pencil and liquid lipstick are both a warmed toned Brown nude. They're comfortable, non drying and so long lasting!

So there's some Valentines day makeup and pamper inspiration. I hope you all have a great Valentines day no matter what you are doing.

Have you tried any of these? What are thoughts?

Until next time...
