Under the Radar Brands Worth Checking Out

I have discovered so many amazing brands through blogging, some I probably would have never heard of or even thought to check out! So this post idea popped into my head for the non bloggers out there that would have never heard of these brands. I've also included a few brands that in my opinion, are underrated. So lets get into it.

Salon Science

This brand is so underrated and really easy to get hold of, it's available in Boots. They're centred around delivering excellent haircare that gives real results. And everything I have tried really does. My favourites are:

Swiss Apple Shampoo* | £12

This shampoo uses plant steam cells to help rebuild and nourish the hair so it's perfect for dry / damaged hair. It has a surprisingly light weight formula that doesn't strip the hair but it leaves it feeling clean and fresh.

Swiss Apple Conditioner* | £12

The conditioner uses the same ingredients to intensely nourish the hair. The conditioner itself is quite thick, which I really like. It adds an instant shot of hydration to my hair, leaving it soft and smooth. I find it really easy to rinse out too and it doesn't weigh my hair down.

Swiss Apple Mask* | £19

Everybody with dry or damaged hair needs this conditioner, it's easily one of the best I've tried! It deeply nourishes my hair, leaving it so soft, shiny and manageable! I like to leave this on for around 10 minutes and rinse it off. Plus it smells amazing too. What I love about this range is it doesn't dull my blonde ombre down either which I tend to find my hydrating products do.

Brush Works

Another brand I probably wouldn't have heard of if it wasn't for blogging. Brush Works is a super affordable brush brand, but all the brushes I've tried have been amazing. The quality is well up their with Real Techniques and Zoeva. Here's a few of their amazing brushes:

Multi Task Brush* | £5.99

This brush can be used with liquid or powder brushes. It is quite densely packed so I like to use it with liquid or cream products. The bristles are so soft and it blends foundation in with ease. It reminds me a lot of the Real Techniques Multi Task brush which can only be brought as part of the set, which is annoying when I only want one brush. But luckily I've found this and it's cheaper.

HD Multi Task Sponge* | £6.49

I love these style of sponges! It has a smaller end and a larger end. I think it's designed for contouring but I love it for concealer. The small end fits perfectly under my eyes and blends concealer out seamlessly. The larger end also works well with foundation. It dampens really well and expands a little but not too much.

Brush set (10 brushes)* | £45

This set contains 10 brushes that are all designed to offer a customisable coverage and finish! I really like the larger ones for applying liquid and cream base products. They blend everything so seamlessly, leaving a flawless base. It took me a little while to get used to this style of brush but now I have I'm fully converted! The smaller brushes in this set I'm not too sure about. A couple work well with pinpoint concealer. But the eye brushes I just can't work with. All these brushes are available individually though and are so cheap! They wash really well too!

Evoluderm

Evoluderm is a French skincare brand that I'd never heard of until they contacted me! But I'm so glad I have discovered them because they have some real gems, which are very affordable. The brand is also available at TK-Maxx. Some products I've been loving are:

Moisture Mask* | £2.40

I have dehydrated skin so I love anything moisturising and this mask is great! It contains Argon oil and Evening Primrose oil to hydrate the skin. This is quite a thick, creamy mask that feels really nice on the skin. I like to leave it on for 10 mins or so, at this point most of the product has been absorbed by my skin. I just remove the excess and my skin is instantly soft and smooth.

Evoluderm Exfoliator* | £2.40

This scrub contains similar hydrating ingredients like the mask as well as Apricot to gently exfoliate skin. I know some people hate manual scrubs but I still really like them, I like the fresh clean feeling they give. This one just does that but it isn't too scrubby it's uncomfortable or drying on my skin.

Evoluderm Precious Oil* | £5.99

My whole body is dry so I enjoy a good oil. This one is really nice. It's light weight and absorbs quickly leaving my skin soft and smooth. It smells amazing too.

So there's a few Under the Radar Brands that I think are worth checking out.
