Best In Beauty | January

Finally January is coming to an end! It feels like it's been the longest month ever. The end of January means a round up of my favourite makeup products so let's get straight into it.

Feral Liquid Lipstick* | £14.99 | REVIEW

I can't seem to put this liquid lipstick down. The shade Skin Tight is the perfect pale nude colour. I tend to struggle with these kind of shades because they tend to be too pale for my skin tone but this is just perfect. The formula is one of the best I've tried too. It's really pigmented and applies easily. The finish is completely matte but not drying at all. The wear time is really good and this is really easy to re apply throughout the day. There's nothing not to love.

ColourPop Kathleen Light Lip Gloss | $6

Kathleen Lights recently teamed up with ColourPop again, I've loved all her collabs with them so I brought the whole collection. But in particular I've been loving this gloss in the shade Moon Child. It's described as a Pink nude with Gold glitter. But you can't see any glitter when it's on the lips. It's such a pretty shade that goes with any makeup look. The formula isn't sticky or gloopy on the lips at all.

American English Seaberry Hair Oil* | £25 | REVIEW

Having dry frizzy hair means I do love a good oil. But good oils are actually really hard to find, I don't want one that's going to weigh my hair down or leave it looking greasy. This offering from American English is one of the best I've tried. It's in a spray form which I love. It's to be sprayed on dry hair, ideally after styling. This really does tame frizz, adds shine and leaves hair so soft while feeling weightless in the hair!

YSL All Hours Foundation | £33.50 | REVIEW

I had no reason to buy this apart from the claims sounded really good. It claims to be a long wearing foundation that won't mask the skin or feel heavy. And this really lives up to the claims. It has a really good medium to full coverage in a super blend-able formula that looks so natural on the skin!

Touch In Sol Liquid Liner* | £9.50 | REVIEW

A classic wing is my everyday makeup look so when this liner landed on my door step I was super excited. And this did not disappoint! It's super Black, has a super fine tip and makes creating the perfect wing so easy! This is far better than any liners I've tried from the drugstore but the price point is similar! I really can't recommend this enough.

So that's everything I've been loving throughout January.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...

Affordable Discoveries

It feels like for ever since I last posted an Affordable Discoveries Post and since then I seem to have accumulated quite a collection of affordable products. So without further ado...

Affordable Skincare Treatments That Work

Following on from last Sundays post (A skincare routine for under £30). I promised to share my favourite affordable masks and treatments. So here they are.

5 Things You Have to Try From Touch In Sol

If you follow me over on Instagram I'm sure you would have seen me post about Touch In Sol. If you didn't know, Touch in Sol are quite a new brand to the UK market. Originally from Korea, the home of perfect skin, they offer cutting edge makeup and skincare. That is not only on trend but it also delivers! It's also the first full Korean makeup line in the UK. I've been testing their products for a few months now and I'm ready to share my thoughts. I will do a seperate post on their skincare soon.

Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer | £15

I'm obsessed with this primer I can't put it down! It promises to be pore filling, smoothing and skin perfecting. It contains unique powders to control oils and Green Tea extract and Collagen. This is a silicone primer but it doesn't feel drying or heavy on the skin at all. It leaves my skin velvety smooth and makeup glides over the top. I do find this helps extend my makeup wear time too! I really can't recommend this enough.

Touch In Sol Toc Toc Toning Base *| £16

Another primer I love from the brand is this. It has a light weight gel consistency that's packed with hydrating ingredients and the suspended pearls burst on the skin to brighten and add radiance. This is a great base if you have dry skin, it really smooths over the areas and leaves my skin looking plump and healthy!

Touch In Sol Metallist Liquid Foil Shadows | £21.50

Every brand is bringing out these liquid foil shadows and these are the best I've tried. One end is a super metallic sheeny, cream shadow and the other end is a glitter, that compliments the cream end perfectly. Then once the liquid end has set these do not budge, they don't fade or crease! With the glitter over the top these shadows are really show stopping. The glitter is actually really comfortable on the lids. It doesn't feel chunky or scratch at all. I have all Six shades:

Margret - This one of my favourites. It's a burnt Red, Copper colour.

Elder - is a lovely Bronze colour, that is perfect for everyday where.

Tallia - is a beautiful pale Champagne colour with Gold under tones. It makes a really nice bold inner corner highlight.

Adilo - this is a stunning warm Red colour.

Lottie - is a lovely dusky Mauve colour.

If you want a shadow thats going really make an impact, look no further than these.

Touch In Sol Stretch X Mascara* | £18

I find it hard to get excited about mascaras, they either do the job or they don't. But this mascara is something special. It has a classic bristle wand, that may not look overly exciting but this transforms the lashes! It is so lengthening! The formula stays put all day too but it's still easy to remove.

Non Stop Swift Black Liner* | £9.50

A classic wing is my go to look so the perfect eyeliner is essential to me. And I'm pleased to report this has become one of my favourites! It has the perfect fine tip, that has enough movement but not too much it's hard to work with. The liner itself is super Black and long lasting. You can create a thick or thin line with this. It's just makes creating 1 a breeze. Definitely recommend checking this out!

So there's 5 things you have to try from Touch In Sol.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define - Worth the Hype + Shape Tape Comparison

I'm sure all of you would have seen Makeup Revolutions latest launch. And I'm not going to lie if I see another big Youtuber swatch it and say 'I'm shook' I will scream haha! But anyhow this concealer is something to get excited about. I mean it costs just £4 and comes in 18 shades! But is it worth the hype?

A Primer for Every Skin Concern

Primers are one of my favourite makeup products. They make a huge difference to how my base products look and last! So today I have a little edit of primers for every skin concern.

A Skincare Routine for Just £30 That Works

Skincare can be crazy expensive and I'm not going lie, I've turned into a skincare snob and much of my routine is high-end products. That being said there are some amazing, affordable products out there and you can get great products that do really work.

Barely There Bases

I talk a lot about full coverage foundation but not so much about ones on the lighter coverage side. Which is strange because I actually use lighter bases a lot! So I thought I'd share my barely there bases with you guys.

Feral Cosmetics - The Liquid Lipsticks You Need

With winter in full swing my lips are seriously suffering! So I've not been using liquid lipsticks as much. But when I received these Feral Cosmetics liquid Matte Lipsticks I just couldn't resist the shades.

Makeup Lately

I really don't think these posts need much of an introduction, it's basically the makeup I've been reaching for. So let's jump in.

A Pixi Skincare Roundup

Pixi is hands down one of my favourite skincare brands. They offer some of the most effective skincare I've ever tried and a few of the products I couldn't be without. The price point of the brand is reasonable too. They sit in the mid-priced category but some of the product easily rival products with a £50+ price tag. I have quite the collection of Pixi skincare so I thought it was about time I reviewed it all for you...

Four High-End Highlighters Worth Investing In

Highlighters are one of my favourite makeup products. They just transform the whole makeup look, give my face shape and more importantly leave my skin looking healthy. So today I thought I'd share my high-end highlighters that I think are well worth investing in.

Note Worthy Haircare From American English

I love discovering new brands so when the haircare range American English landed on my doorstep I was instantly intrigued. I have long, thick, naturally curly hair so I'm always in the market for haircare that is going to tame my locks! And what American English has to offer is something different from most brands on the market. They are 100% vegan, not tested on animals, all their products are natural and ethically sourced.

A Guide To Budget Brush Brands

I don't actually own any high-end makeup brushes and I don't feel like I'm missing out. All my favourite brushes do the job perfectly. The world of makeup brushes can be a little over whelming especially when they're just named with letters and numbers. I've put together a little guide to some of my favourite affordable brush brands.

YSL All Hours Foundation - Worth the Hype?

I'm not actually sure if this foundation is hyped up but I've seen it on a few Youtube videos and it has some bold claims! So I gave in and brought it so here am I ready to review it for you.

Skincare for a Guaranteed Glow

Who doesn't want naturally, healthy glowing skin? With winter and over indulging through the christmas period my skin was definitely lacking in glow. So here are my picks for getting your skin glowing again.

A Few Things I'm Currently Loving

It kind of doesn't seem right to do a December Best In Beauty. Everyone is looking ahead and is excited for what January holds in store so looking back just doesn't seem right. But I still have loads of favourites I wanted to share with you guys. So here they are.

New In From Makeup Revolution

It's been a while since I did a good old Makeup Revolution haul! A couple of months ago I received one of their palettes in a gift bag after an event and I completely fell back in love with the brand. I mean who doesn't love super cheap products that perform amazingly! So I've been testing a few products and here are my thoughts.
