Best In Beauty | April

I don't really think these posts need an introduction anymore, the title pretty much sums up what this post is all about. So let's get straight into it. Here's what I've been loving throughout April.

3 Concept Eyes Back to Baby Primer | £14

I've fallen back in love with this primer. I've had it in my collection for quite sometime and I've not really given it the love it deserves recently. But I've put it back into my rotation and I can't get enough of it. This is a super hydrating, glow giving primer. This gives my skin such a gorgeous dewy look, whilst keeping my skin hydrated all day. This is actually one of my favourite primers for matte foundations because it soothes any dry patches and keeps the foundation from drying out on my skin. That being said this works really well with my dewy foundations too.

Maybelline Super Stay 24Hr Foundation | £9.99 (currently on offer for £6.95 here) | REVIEW

I brought this on a whim after hearing it had been reformulated and I love it! This is a long wearing foundation that claims to stay put for 24hr, I don't know about that but this lasts all day without any problems. It has a natural satin finish that can be made either matte or dewy. The formula is really nice, it doesn't look heavy or cakey and it blends well. I love using this with the 3 Concept Eyes primer for a dewy finish that lasts all day. This is really full coverage too.

L'oreal Cool Highlighter Palette | £12.99 | REVIEW

It's been a while since I've been really blown away by an affordable highlighter but these highlighters from L'oreal knocked my socks off! They're amazing. This palette in particular houses 4 cool toned highlighters. Admittedly, cool tones are not something I'm usually drawn to but I really like the look of the far right and centre shade. They formula of these is so buttery soft. They apply with ease to the face without looking powdery or chunky. These don't exaggerate any problem areas either. I really can't recommend this palette enough, the highlighters are easily on par with high-end ones.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume Two* | £25 | REVIEW

I'm obsessed with this mascara from Charlotte Tilbury. I was already a fan of the original Legendary Lashes mascara, despite the smudging issue. Charlotte has reformulated this one to stop smudging and I'm pleased to report this doesn't smudge at all. The mascara itself gives amazing length and volume, while holding the lashes in place all day.

The Ordinary Mandelic Acid | £5.80

I wont go into to much detail about this because I have a full review coming on it soon. But I wanted to give it a mention because I'm obsessed! This acid works in the same way as regular AHAs but it's much more gentle. Some acids just don't agree with my skin. But this really gives my skin that brightening, smooth effect from a regular AHA but with irritating it or causing it to break at all! I've been using this in the evening before my regular serums and it really helped give my skin a glow. And leaves it so soft and smooth. Keep your eyes peeled for my full review soon.

Makeup Geek Shadow Pan in Creme Brulee | £4.95

I'm all about super simple eye looks these days. I've been absolutely loving Creme Brulee alone, blended through my crease. The shade itself is a warm toned, mid Brown, matte Brown. The formula s so blended and it lasts really well on me, without creasing or fading. It's just a brilliant eyeshadow.

Lixir Skin Cleanser* | £25

I never thought I'd be so excited by cleanser. But this one from Lixir skin has quickly become one of my favourites. It's really light and creamy, it melts away makeup and grime with ease. Without being stripping or drying on the skin. But what I love about this is how smooth it makes my skin. This is also gentle enough to be used on eye makeup. It's a fab cleanser. You can see my full review of it here.

That's everything I've been loving throughout April.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
