REVIEW: Loreal True Match Foundation (NEW FORMULA)

I didn't really like the original True Match and never really got the hype around it. I found it cakey looking and dry looking on my skin. So when I heard it had be re formulated to celebrate its 10 year anniversary, I knew I had to try it, in the hope it would end my quest for the 'perfect' foundation. The new formula offers new shade enhancers for better shade matching (theres nothing worse than finding a great a foundation but the colours off!). Skin perfecting pigments and a creamy texture for a flawless finish.

I have the shade 4.D Golden Natural which is a pretty good match, its slightly too orange for me.. but I guess that's my fault for not matching it correctly. The formula of this is completely different to the original, it is very creamy, it glides and blends effortlessly. It has a medium buildable coverage. And the finish is luminous but matte - very skin like.

The wear time was ok. It start to breakdown and go patchy after about 5 - 6 hours after application. Which probably isn't ideal if you have a long day. Overall, this, for me, is definitely better than the original! And I actually really like it. For £9.99 its a very good foundation. The new formula would be great for those who have dry skin, because of the new added oils and skin care benefits. Although, I'm not sure how everyone is going to feel about the new formula, as it was greatly loved by many!

Loreal True Match Foundation is available here (£9.99).

Have you tried the new formula? What did you think?

Until next time...
