I've found over the first few months of blogging that I have a lot of products that are sometimes difficult to work into posts. I may not be necessarily loving them, but you guys might, or products that just I want to talk about, that don't really deserve a whole post! So the beauty brief will be those products!
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue // £23.40
This is a BB, CC and tinted moisturiser in one, in a gel like formula. This offers a light, but buildable coverage. I'm not too sure why I brought this because I've not been a fan of BB and CC creams in the past. But I really like the finish of this, its very 'glowy' and fresh looking. Although I found the staying power of this was not great (disappointed, I really wanted to love this!). I think it was the natural oils in my skin that affect the wear time of this. So i'd definitely recommend this for dry skins! I have the shade 05 which is a pretty good match for me.
Vitamin E Refreshing Tonning Mist // £2.99
My skins been feeling dehydrated lately (I don't have dry skin, I have normal skin that gets dehydrated) and, sometimes throughout the day, I can almost feel it sucking the moisture out of my makeup (which is not a good feeling in the slightest), so I picked this up as a re fresh throughout the day. Its a refreshing tonner in a spray form. It contains vitamin E and Horse chestnut (what ever that is) along with a range of other vitamins to help moisturise the skin. I really like this, its definitely refreshing and makes my makeup feel more comfortable!
Essie Nail Polish Cashmere Matte in the shade Cozy in Cashmere // £7.99
Essie, Is, hands down my favourite nail polish brand! The formula and the colour range ticks all the boxes for me! So when I spotted their new cashmere matte range I hand to pick a few up! The colours are matte with hints of shimmers of them. The shade cozy in cashmere is stunning mauve colour with violet under tones and it looks so pretty on the nails! I can not rate the SHADE highly enough although the only downside is the lasting power! It literally chipped with an 2 hours of painting my nails (not ideal). And I cant use my trusty Sech Vite, because its matte and the top coat makes it glossy.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray // £21
The name pretty much sums this up, its a makeup setting spray. I like this, I'm not quite sure if it affects the wear time of my makeup but it definitely keeps it looking fresher for longer. I mean it helps prevent my eye concealer from creasing and just makes it look freshly applied for longer. Has anyone found this makes there makeup last longer?
What do guys think about this kind of post? Also has you tried any of these products? What did you think? I'd love to know :)
Until next time...
