Best in Beauty // November

Where has November gone? It has literally flown by! I'm super excited for Christmas though and December means its time to start think about Christmas decorations and digging them out the loft! But as November is coming to the end and it time to share the products I've been loving this month. I don't have many favourites this month because I've been testing out so many new things, but here a few things that have been staples of mine throughout the month:

Too Faced Born This Way foundation // £29     POST

This has been a firm favourite this month! I love everything about this foundation. It has a natural to slightly dewy finish (which I love), it blends effortless, last all day and has good medium coverage! Even the packaging is beautiful. I can't fault this foundation! It slightly pricy but its definitely worth every penny!

Zoeva En Taupe Eye shadow Palette // £15.50    POST

It was a difficult to decided whether to include this palette or the Zoeva Cocoa Palette, they both have been my go to palettes this month, but I thought you guys are probably bored of hearing about the cocoa blend palette - so this one was the winner! The shades in this palette are based around taupe hues and the shades are beautiful - perfect for everyday wear! They are butter smooth and blend out amazingly! My favourite shades are Handmade, Hour by Hour and Wrapped in Silk!

Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Perfector Oil // £9.99

This oil has been a firm favourite for quite sometime now, so I thought it was about time it made into a Best in Beauty post. This is formulated with coconut oil and other hair loving ingredients to reduce frizz and keep hair looking smooth, that can be used before washing as nourishing treatment, before styling to help protect hair from heat damage and after styling to for added shine. I love using this after styling to boost shine and smooth spilt ends.

Milani Matte Lipstick in the shade 69 Matte Beauty // £5   POST

This is a stunning warmed toned which my kind of shade! Its matte too which I love for this time of year! But its the staying power I really love about this - It lasts a good four hours before the colour starts to fade!

So that's everything I been loving this month! What has been your favourites?

Until next time...

Holy Grail Makeup

Some products that I use everyday and repurchase I often forget to talk about because they no longer excite me! So today I thought I'd share with you my current holy grail makeup!

Bourjois Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer // £10.99

This is my favourite all time primer! This is a hydrating primer with a light texture that glides over skin like a dream and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. And perfectly primed ready for foundation!

My all time favourite foundation used to be Revlon Photo Ready until they reformulated it!! Which I have no idea why, because they new one is no way near as good! But this foundation has replaced it. I love dewy foundations and they feel more comfortable on my skin than matte ones. The foundation has a good medium, buildable coverage. And the finish is just amazing! Its a light infusing foundation that promises to give the skin luminosity. And this really does!

This palette is my go to for almost any eye look! With 12 warm toned nudes and browns with gold hues, a mix of matte, shimmers and satin finished this palette has been my go to since I brought it!

It's the contour shade of this that I couldn't live with out! The shade is perfect for my tone. Its slightly warm toned which suits me way better than really cool tones. The formula of this is also brilliant for a kit that costs less than £5! It blends beautifully and looks so natural!

This is my all time favourite highlighter. I just love the finish it gives. Its a beautiful champagne toned highlighter in a stick form. This is so creamy and blends out effortlessly. With cheaper stick form highlighters I've used in the past, they tend to move my makeup underneath, this does not do that. And leaves a lovely lit from within glow!

Urban Decay  Naked Skin Concealer // £17.50

I've repurchased this countless times! This is a full coverage concealer that's lightweight and buildable. It covers any type of blemish you want to hide. But I really love this for dark circles and highlighting areas of the face. I have the shade Fair Neutral which looks white in the tube but blends out beautifully! It doesn't settle into fine lines or crease and wears all day! Everything about this makes it a winner in my book!

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick // £15.50

This is my third Velvet Teddy Lipstick! This is my perfect everyday nude! Its brown toned with slight pink under tones and the trusty formula of MAC matte lipsticks means the staying power is amazing!

So that's all my Holy Grail Makeup products (to date). What are yours?

Until next time...

REVIEW // Zoeva En Taupe Palette

Now, my love for the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette is no secret! It was the first Zoeva palette I'd brought. And I couldn't believe the formula and pigmentation for just £15.50! I mean the buttery soft, blendable formula is up there with Urban Decay! So it was a no brainer to order another! En Taupe was the one chosen.  The palette contains 10 beautiful nude, neutral shades all inspired by taupe and brown hues.

Top row, left to right: Stitch by stitch, Hand made, Gallery, Hour by Hour, Old Master. Bottom row, left to right: Spun pearl, Sheers and Voiles, Outline, Wrapped in Silk, Exquisite.

  • Stitch by Stitch is creamy white with neutral undertones. Perfect for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner.
  • Handmade is a neautral pinky, peach colour with gold shimmers in it. This is one of my favourites out of the palette. I like to sweep this across the whole eye lid.
  • Gallery is a dark muted taupe colour. This looks stunning in the crease or outer V.
  • Hour by Hour is a pinky colour with taupe undertones. I love this as a transition colour in the crease.
  • Old Master is a deep taupe with purple undertones and gold glittery running through it.
  • Spun Pearl is a lovely white with grey undertones. This has a shimmer finish. I like to use this all over lid, when creating a grey smoky eye.
  • Sheers and Voiles is a nude taupe with a golden hue. This looks beautiful all over the lid and smudge under the lower lash line.
  • Outline is a beautiful brown colour with taupe and gold undertones. I like to use this on the outer third of the lid for added drama.
  • Wrapped in Silk is a taupey grey colour with gold shimmers in it.
  • Exquiste is a muted purple colour, which looks amazing in the outer V and along the lower lash line.
Top row (Left to right) Stitch By Stitch, Homemade, Gallery, Hour by Hour, Old Master.

Bottom row (left to right) Spun Pearl, Sheers and Voiles, Outline, Wrapped in Silk, Exquisite

The packaging is sleek, sturdy cardboard (like all the other Zoeva palettes) which I love because they fit in most of makeup bags and are ideal for travelling. The eye shadows inside live up to my much loved Cocoa Blend palette. They are buttery smooth, easy to blend and amazing pigmentation. I'm just going to put it there - I think I prefer the formula to my Urban decay shadows!! This palette is great for everyday wear, with all the shades being neutral and subtle. A must for any eye shadow enthusiast!

The Zoeva En Taupe palette is avaible here. (£15.50)

Have you tried this palette? I definitely want more Zoeva Palettes so leave you recommendations below :)

Until next time...

Makeup Lately

I've noticed that lately I keep reaching for the same products almost everyday, so I thought I'd share them with today. So without further ado:

Base:

Soap & Glory One Heck Of Blot Primer // £10

This pore perfecting primer promises to keep shine at bay all day, minimise pores and help makeup last longer. I've been loving this recently - it really does help my makeup last all day and give a smooth base for makeup application!

Too Faced Born this way foundation // £29

This is one of the best foundations I've used in a long time! And I've found myself reaching for this for that reason! The formula is very light and blends effortlessly into the skin. It has a medium but buildable coverage and it lasts all day! But its the finish of this that I absolutely love - It leaves me with an amazing, radiant glow that isn't to 'glowy' for this time of year! I have a full review of this. You can read it here.

NYX Above And Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in the Shade Yellow // £5.50

Since NYX has come to the UK and I picked up few bits I have fallen in love! This is one of the best concealers for under eye circles I have tried! Its quite a solid formula that difficult to blend out (I use my fingers) but when it does my dark circles are gone! It doesn't crease either which is always a plus!

MUA Skin Define Hydro Powder // £3

This powder is amazing for anyone with dry skin! This sets makeup without being drying or cakey! It also contains lots of skin loving ingredients to stop skin drying out. So I've been using this since I brought it!

Smash Box Shape Matters Palette // £60

This 3 in 1 palette has been my go to for all my brow and contouring needs! This palette has 2 eye brow powders, a brow wax, 4 contouring and highlighting shades, and 12 eye shadows for almost any eye look! I've been using the lightest brow shade (taupe) to fill in my brows. I never realised how easy it is and the natural finish from using powders to fill in my brows, so this has been a staple in my routine! I've been using the warmer bronze shade for contour and the shimmery highlight shade!

Essence Matte Touch Blush in the shade 20 Berry Me up // £2.50

I've been using this for a no fuss, bearly there wash of colour. This is lovely pinky, purple shade that blend well and looks lovely on the cheeks!

Eyes:

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette / /£15.50

I can't rave about this palette enough! But I wont bore you to much as to why I love this palette, I have a full post on why I do here. Almost everyday I've been using substitute for love in my crease and freshly toasted in the outer v for natural, everyday autumnal look!

Left to right: Zoeva Substitute For Love, Zoeva Freshly Toasted, Contour shade for the smash box palette, Highlight shade from Smash Box palette.

Lips:

Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in the Shade 1993 // £15.50

I love changing up my lipsticks, but for days when I'm really busy or out all day, I've been reaching for this little beauty! This is a muted, medium to dark brown with slight warm taupe undertones. It is super comfortable on the lips, and looks absolutely beautiful. The pigmentation is brilliant. I get around 5 hours wear out this before the colour starts to breakdown. Which is awesome - there's nothing worse than lipsticks that transfer everywhere and after 10 minutes look like you haven't even applied any!

Urban decay lipstick in the 1993.

So that's the makeup I've been reaching for lately! What are yours?

Until next time...

NYX Haul

With every American Beauty blogger / vlogger and their nan raving about the quality of NYX products us Brits were somewhat feeling left out with NYX not being overly available here. But I'm sure I share most peoples excitement to hear that Boots now stock them! So obviously I had to pick a few items up! So heres what I got:

NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation // £12.50

Foundations being my thing it was a no brainer that I had to pick this up. This is a light diffusing foundation that gives the appearance of smooth flawless skin - even under HD technology. This also contains skin loving ingredients to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and rejuvenate skin.
I really like this foundation! It blends beautifully, has good medium but buildable coverage, lasts all day and feels comfortable on the skin! The finish is demi matte to slightly dewy - which I really like! I have the shade Natural, which is a tad to dark for me.

NYX Above and Beyond Full coverage Concealer in the shade Yellow // £5.50

This concealer promises to hide all kinds of skin concerns from dark circles to blemishes and redness. I got the shade yellow, because I find that yellow counteracts my darks circles the best. And this is one of the best under eye concealers I've used! Its full coverage but lightweight. It doesn't crease, smudge or budge! This also comes in a range a shades for all skin tones / skin concearns!

NYX Butter Gloss and Intense Butter Gloss // £5 - £5.50

What NYX haul would be complete without their famous Butter Gloss? These are buttery soft and smell good enough to eat! The original Butter gloss has a sheer to medium pigmentation that can be wore alone or over the top of you favourite lipstick. The Intense Butter gloss has the same silky texture, only with better pigmentation! I picked the shades:
  • Madeleine - a sheer browny nude
  • Angel Food Cake - A beautiful pinky, mauve nude
  • Toasted Marshmallow (Intense Butter Gloss) - A medium plum shade, perfect for autumn / winter.

Left to right - Madeleine, Toasted Marsmallow, Angel Food Cake.

So that's everything I picked up! Have you tried any these, what did you think?

Until next time...

Sleep - In - Beauty // Products that work while you sleep!

Apparently the average adult needs 7 - 9 hours of sleep a night. I'm lucky if I get 6, so to prevent my lack of sleep showing on my face I have rounded up my top picks that work overnight too leave my skin looking refreshed, plump and hydrated!

Pixi Nourishing Sleep Mask //  £18

This is a relatively new purchase I picked up after falling in love with their 'Glow Tonic'. This overnight treatment promises to lock in moisture to prevent and help dehydrating effects from the environment. Its enriched with hyaluronic acid to hydrate, Jojoba oil to moisturise and heal, alongside many other oils to soothen, strengthen, brighten and deeply nourish! I use this twice a week and the results are instant! In the morning my skin is silky smooth, very nourished, as well noticeably plumper.

Nip + Fab No Needle Fix serum // £19.99

I use this to prevent wrinkles, I'm lucky I don't have any yet! This is a plumping and volumising serum that hydrates, smooth's the appearance of fine lines and firms the skin! This can be used morning and night, but I like to use only at night because I find if I use too many products in the morning they make me oily throughout the day. I can't comment on its wrinkle reducing promises but this definitely adds more moisture! I can definitely tell the difference in the morning if I've just used a  moisturiser.

Vitamin E Serum in Oil // £15

You've probably heard me raving about this before but I just cant get enough of this little pink bottle! It has the power of a serum and an oil in one (I do love a multi tasking product!). It claims to make skin look like its had 8hours sleep, recharge skin, Hydrate and brighten all in a non greasy, lightweight formula! This does everything it promises! I absolutely love it! I use it before moisturiser or before the Pixi Sleep Mask!

Vitamin E Nourish Night cream // £13

This used alongside the Serum in Oil is a match made in heaven! This a very rich, thick cream that intensively hydrates! I love this because I find most rich creams break me out and this doesn't! I like to use on top of the oil and in the morning my skin is smooth, plump and hydrated!

Have you tried any of these, what did think? What are top products that work overnight?

Until next time...

MUA Hydro Primer & Powder // Budget Superheros

I tend to avoid powders because most leave my skin feeling tight and dry. They also leave me looking cakey and flat (not the look I want!). I don't have dry skin as such, its more dehydrated. During winter it gets worse and drinks the moister out of my foundations if I don't use a primer. So on my hunt to find a powder that will set my makeup and not dry my skin out - I stumbled upon these:

This little purse friendly pot is a lightweight hydrating primer in gel formula that smoothes skin, for even makeup application. This is very refreshing and cooling on the skin. it doesn't feel oily, slippery, or silionconey. It just left my skin really smooth! The consistency of this is like nothing I've tried before - its like jelly - and can be a bit difficult to scoop out the pot. But that aside I really like this primer! It stops my skin breaking down my makeup and helps my makeup stay comfortable all day! It also has added benefits of a self-repairing system that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. After application I'm left with a smooth complexion, ready for makeup!

This is a lightweight setting powder infused with vitamin E and jojoba for a natural and nourishing finish. This is £3. YES £3! And it has everything you would expect from a powder with a much higher price tag! This set my foundation and concealer, without feeling, dry or tight! My makeup lasted all day - this powder is, just, amazing! The coverage is sheer and doesn't look powdery on the skin, but its enough to set foundations. It doesn't come in shades so I'm guessing its translustant (it doesn't say on the packaging) which is good for all skin tones. I cannot recommend this powder enough! especially if you have dry or dehydrated skin.

Have you tried these products, what did you think? I'm so impressed with these I'm definitely going to try more of  MUA base products! So leave your recommendations below!

Until next time...

A Few Things From Freedom Makeup

Freedom makeup is Makeup Revolutions professional range (I think, correct me if I am wrong). Bringing you professional makeup at affordable prices! We all love good quality products at bargain prices (well I certainly do) and with all their dupes of makeup at much higher prices - an online order was made and here I am with some new goodies to share with you!

Freedom Pro Strobe Cream Palette // £10

I'm not shy of a good contour and with my dyhydrated skin freaking out, I'm trying to avoid powders. I really like this! I use the darkest brown side (bottom row - centre) for contour. It blends out beautifully and the pigmentation is good. The other two brown shades are slightly to light for my skin tone so they, disappointingly, blend in with my foundation. I'm not overly tanned so bare this in mind when ordering! The yellow shade is my favourite for highlighting! Although the lighter shades are a bit on the oilier side so setting them with powder is essential! The brush it comes with is super soft and seems very good quality, although It doesn't fit into the smaller pans in palette!

Freedom Pro Strobe Cream // £8

My first thoughts are this looks like dupe for MACs strobe cream. I haven't actually tried the MAC one so I cant compare them. But I really like this. It provides subtle illumination, that's not glittery in the slightest! It can be worn over makeup to highlight targeted areas or underneath as a primer for an all over glow! I like to use this a primer, its hydrating, gives my skin a natural glow and acts as a barrier to stop my skin drinking the moisture out of my makeup!

Freedom Pro Studio Priming Water // £6

This is what I was most excited to try! It looks like the Smash Box Primer Water, which I've been lusting over for quite sometime! And  at £30 a bottle I will be lusting for sometime longer! So this at £6 was a no brainer! This is a lightweight primer that is enhanced with multi-vitamins that hydrate, revitalise and boost radiance! It can also be used over makeup for extra highlighting! This is amazing! It smells great and makes my makeup last all day! I also like spritzing it over the top of makeup throughout the day to make my makeup look fresher!

Freedom Eye Brow Pomade // £5

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brown Pomade springs to mind here! This promises to be the most effective solution for achieving HD brows. This is a gel formula, which I found so much easier to apply than powders! I got the shade 'medium brown' which is not medium brown by any strength of the imagination! It's definitely more of a dark brown to black! Which is really annoying because I really like the formula, lasting powder, application! Everything about this is brilliant apart from the shade is to dark! But at £5 I will be ordering it in the right shade!

Have you tried anything from Freedom Makeup? What are you favourites from the brand?

Until next time...

Autumn Eyeshawdow Palettes

In keeping with my recent 'The Autumn Beauty Edit' post (you can read it here) I thought I'd share with you my favourite autumn eye shadow palettes! For me autumn eye shadows are all about bronzy, plum and smoky shades!

Urban Decay Naked Palette // £38

Now this is one of my all year round staple eye shadow palettes but I use it a lot more come the colder months. The mix of warmed toned browns is perfect for creating a brown smoky eye, or subtle hint of colour to go with any lip. Its also great for creating a dramatic evening look.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette // £15.50

This has become my favourite palette this year! I have a detailed review of this palette here. Its the perfect palette for those who love warm, bronzy brown and for those who love a subtle pop of colour! The shades are perfect for almost any autumn eye look. This palette if such good value for money - the pigmentation and buttery formula are outstanding! And I think I prefer the formula to my Urban Decay eye shadows, which, says it all!

MAC Amber Times Palette // £27

This palette is so small and compact - perfect for those on the go or travel! This small but mighty palate includes 9 beautiful eyeshadows with purple and orange hues. It includes matte, satin and frost finishes to create both day and night looks. I particularly love the bottom row for autumn!

MUA Academy Romantic Efflorecense Palette // £4

I thought i'd include a budget friendly option. And this palette is stunning! It contains an array of plums, deep metallic, and beautiful mattes! I love a plum smoking eye, and the plum tones in this palette are perfect for creating that look! The quality of the shadows is also surprisingly good considering this comes in at under £5!!

What are your favourite autumn eye shadow palettes? Eye shadow palettes are quickly becoming one of my favourite things to buy so please leave your recommendations below!

Until next time...

The Radiant Base

You all probably know by now about my struggle with dehydrated, grey and just not very nice looking skin the colder months. So I've put together my top makeup picks to stop skin drinking up the makeup and give a truly radiant, flawless base!

Primer

Primer is must, for me, it definitely stops my skin from taking the moisture out of my foundation. I like to opt for a 'glowy', hydrating one, to make my skin look alive!

Freedom Pro Studio Strobe Cream // £8

Now this looks like a dupe for MACs strobe cream but I haven't actually tried that so I cant compare them. But I imagine MACs strobe cream is more iridescent than this. This provides subtle illumination, its not glittery in the slightest! This can be worn over makeup to highlight targeted areas or underneath for an all over glow. I like to use this as a primer, it's hydrating and gives my skin a natural glow, that's not over the top!

Seventeen Skin WOW 3 Way Highlighter // £5.99

This stuff is amazing! Its the ultimate skin pick me up! This, like the freedom one can be used on top or underneath makeup, or mixed with foundation. Its a lot more glowy than the freedom one (but not glittery). I like to use this as a primer, and on top of makeup as a highlighter. As a primer its amazing and even makes dark circles look less obvious! I like to dab on cheek bones as well for an ultimate glow.

Foundation

I find that if I've used one of the above primers I can pretty much use any foundation. But I do love a glowy one!

Yves Saint Laurent Touch Éclat // £31.50

The masterminds behind the greatly loved Touch Éclat have adopted the formula into a foundation to give the face an all over radiance! This foundation targets shadowy areas and highlights the natural contours of the face, in lightweight formula. It has medium coverage and blurs most imperfections. This makes my dull complexion look bright and refreshed!

This is one of my all time favourite foundations! Its a dupe for the YSL one but better! The foundation has a good medium, buildable coverage. And the finish is just amazing! Its a light infusing foundation that promises to give the skin luminosity. And this really does! A definite recommendation for those who have really dry skin.

Highlight

I love highlighters, especially when my skin needs some added oomph! This palette contains 3 Radiant light illuminators, which are simply stunning. These are barley there highlighters that add a subtle glow to the face. Perfect for everyday wear! The formula is buttery soft and blends beautifully. I like the bronzy shade on my cheeks as a bronzer before blusher and the centre side on my cheek bones and down the centre of my face. These are also supposed to be a dupe for the Hour Glass Ambient Lighting powders. The only downside to this palette is there isn't any shade names written on it.

This soft focus, champagne toned beauty is a must for dull skin! Its a cream to powder finish that really gives skin that wow factor! I like to sweep this down my nose, the centre of my forehead and on my cheek bones.

So there's my top picks for radiant skin. What are yours?

Until next time...

REVIEW // Too Faced Born This Foundation

We all have that makeup products that, regardless of how many we have, we just cant stop buying more of them! Mine is foundation. And if you've been following me for a while, you'll probably know about my on going mission to find the 'perfect' foundation! My mission led to me to the Too Face Born This Way foundation.

This little, frosted glass bottle claims it diffuses the line between makeup and skin, In an Oil free formula. For a medium to full coverage that's so undetectable you cant see makeup or flaws. Just radiant looking skin. The formula is infused with coconut oil to replenish moisture levels, alpine rose to help brighten the skin and improve elasticity and hyaluronic acid for smoother more youthful looking skin!

These bold claims are everything I want and more from a foundation! I picked the shade 'warm nude' which is actually a tad to pale for me. But that's the downside of ordering online. The formula is very light and easy to blend (I used my Real Techniques Buffing Brush) and I was surprised at how effortlessly this melted into the skin. The coverage is medium but is easily buildable to full coverage. And this finish is absolutely beautiful! It give me a lovely, radiant glow. And it is almost undetectable. The lasting power is brilliant too! It lasted all day with out going patchy or flaky (without powdering) or feeling uncomfortable.

Overall, this is one of the best foundations I've used in a long time! I'm definitely going to order it in my actual shade. The finish is what sealed the deal for me. I'm not sure if I've seen any benefits from the added skin care benefits but I'm yet to notice them from any foundations so I'm not to fussed about that. I'd definitely recommend this for those who normal or dry skin. I'm not to sure how it would last on those with really oily skin, but it is oil free.

Too Faced Born This Way foundation is available here (£29).

Have you tried this? What did think?

Until next time...

The Autumn Beauty Edit

Autumn is my favourite season! I love everything about it; The makeup, fashion, food and candles. So I've put together my top beauty picks that are perfect for the colder months!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation // £27

I'm not really to one change my base completely for autumn. I love 'glowy' foundations all year round. But do opt for something more on the matte side, with a fuller coverage in the cooler months. And Urban Decay has ticked all the boxes with their Naked Skin foundation. Its demi matte and very skin like (without being completely matte) it has a good medium coverage that's buildable!

Milani Baked Blush in shade Berry Amore // £6

I could talk about my love for this blush until the cows come home! But I wont. Just know that this blush is beautiful berry shade with shimmers running though it and look absolutely stunning on the cheeks!

Max Factor Crème Puff Blush in the shade Gorgeous Berries // £8.99

I love berry toned blushes. I find they suit my skin really well. And this offering from Max Factor is perfect! Its a beautiful purple berry colour as the name suggests. And the pigmentation, blendability and lasting power of this is brilliant! A definite must for autumn.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte Lipstick in the shade Divine Wine // £6.99

This is a beautiful deep red wine colour - I love wine colours in autumn and winter. And everything about this lipsticks ticks all the boxes! The lasting power if these is amazing considering its a fraction of the price of some high end lipsticks. I have a whole post on the complete range of these Creamy matte lipsticks. You can read it here.

MAC Lipstick in the shade Taupe // £15.50

Sometimes, the maintance of a berry, or darker lip, isn't always practical. Especially when you know you're going to be out all day away from a mirror! So sometimes I like to opt for a more nude lip. And MACs Taupe is perfect for those days! Taupe is a pretty brown, red colour with slight mauve undertones. A perfect nude for those olive to darker skin tones. And in true MAC style the colour payoff is amazing! (Post)

Skin Care

The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream // £13

Skin care is definitely something I change up in autumn. My skin freaks out during the colder months, it gets dyhrated and spotty. So finding something hydrating that wont break me out can be some what of task! But I've been loving the this little pink pot! This is a rich cream that replensishes moisture levels overnight! My  skin is super soft, and hydrated after using this, so this will be a staple during the autumn.

This little beauty made it into my Best of beauty post. So that says it all. I also love this because it helps with my dehydration and doesn't break me out. This is an overnight treatment that promises to replenish and recharge skin while you sleep! In a non-greasy and fast absorbing formula. This really does live up to all it promises! I'm left with super soft, smooth skin in the morning! And so far my skin hasn't been dehydrated!

I have a thing for Vitamin E - can you tell? This has been a life saving for when my skins feeling paricully dehydrated and I can almost feel it sucking the moisture out of my makeup (which is not a good feeling in the slightest), so I picked this up as a re fresh throughout the day. Its a refreshing tonner in a spray form. It contains vitamin E and Horse chestnut, along with a range of other vitamins to help moisturise the skin. I really like this, its definitely refreshing and makes my makeup feel more comfortable!

Nails

I not only love berry shade of lipsticks and blushes but nail polishes too! This offering from Essie is a beautiful deep red wine colour with purple undertones. Its a perfect autumn/ winter shade and has been my go-to so far this autumn!

This is part of Barry M's new range of mid night Gellys. This is a range mysterious almost black  but not quite colours. And this shade a deep navy shade that's almost black. I'm massive fan of the Barry M gelly range, the price, formula and lasting power is brilliant!

That's all my Autumn picks. What are yours?

Until next time...

Best in Beauty // October

This month i'm not going to sound clinche! October hasn't flown by for me, Its kind of dragged! But October has been an eventful month none the less - We celebrated my sons first birthday! Now that year has gone so quick! Anyway back to beauty. So here's what I've been loving this month:

I've been loving skin care this month and this has helped my skin so much! Its a chemical exfoliator that is enriched with glycolic acid to help brighten, tone and fade marks. It also contains horse chestnut to boost circulation and blood flow to the face. This is so easy to use and gentle enough to be used to be used on all skin types. This is instantly refreshing and leaves my skin really smooth! I have a whole post on the benefits of chemical exfoliators and my favourite ones. You can read it here.

During the colder months my skin starts to suffer from dehydration. And I feel it sucking the moisture out of my makeup (gross) so I picked this little gem up to help prevent this. This is an overnight treatment that promises to replenish and recharge skin overnight! In a non-greasy and fast absorbing formula. This really does live up to all it promises! I'm left with super soft, smooth skin in the morning! And so far my skin hasn't been dehydrated!

I've re discovered my love for this foundation this month! I always forget about it because i'm trying out new ones. But with the cold setting in my skin has been looking grey and lifeless. The foundation has a good medium, buildable coverage. And the finish is just amazing! Its a light infusing foundation that promises to give the skin luminosity. And this really does! Its turns skin from lack luster too radiantly glowing in minutes!

This hands down is one of the best contour kits I have ever used (and I've used a few in my time). Its my perfect contour shade, the formula, pigmentation, blendability is just amazing!! You can read my full review here.

Milani is a brand that is rather tricky to hold of here in the UK, which is such a shame because they are really affordable. But I found the Beauty Crowd ship Milani products to the UK. Obviously I filled my basket with almost everything. And I was not disappointed! This blush is beautiful berry shade with shimmers running through it! Everything about this product is something you would expect from a brand with a much higher price tag! The pigmentation is great, it blends beautiful and looks amazing on the cheeks! The shade is also perfect for autumn / winter!

So that's everything I've been loving this month! What have you been loving?

Until next time...
