Christmas Day Makeup

I'm so excited for Christmas day! I'm not a scrooge in the slightest, I love the food, the atmosphere, being with family and of course giving and receiving presents! So today I thought I'd share some of my top makeup picks for Christmas day!

Soap & Glory one Heck Of Blot Primer // £10          POST

I love the primer for any day but especially long days like Christmas where I want makeup to last longer. But this not only helps makeup last longer, it smooths over pores, imperfections and fine lines, leaving a super smooth base for flawless makeup application!

Bourjois Air Mat Foundation // £9.99

I don't normally like matte foundations, I find they dry my skin out. Which is frustrating because hydrating ones don't tend to last to long. But this is amazing! It lightweight, long lasting and doesn't dry my skin out! Making this a winner for Christmas day when my I want my makeup to last all day!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer // £17.50        POST

For concealer I'll be reaching for my trustly Naked skin concealer! This covers all types of imperfections and dark circles - without smudging, budging or creasing. I love this for highlighting the under eye area and centre of the forehead and down the bridge of my nose.

Makeup Revolution The One Blush stick in the shade Matte Malibu // £5          POST

This will be my contour product of choice! I've been loving the finish of cream contour products recently and this one gives a nice natural finish, that's no over top! This does look scary on first application but it blends out to nice, sheer finish!

The Balm Mary -Lou Manizer // £17.50

To add a bit of Christmas shimmer this highlight is perfect! This is such a beautiful champayned toned highlight that is so buttery and smooth to apply!

H&M Blush in the Shade Sunrise Pink // £6.99

This is beautiful mauve-y pink colour with hints of shimmers in it! It leaves behind a lovley subtle wash of colour.

Stila Eyes Are The Window Soul Eye Shadow Palette // £30

This palette is absolutely stunning! Its perfect for creating almost any eye look. The shadows are soft, blendable and have brilliant pigmentation. I'll be using subtle shades that are perfect for creating a Christmas day makeup look! The Kitten looks beautiful all over the lid and blended out with the Individual!

Maybelline Master Ink // £4.99

I like to finish to of a subtle eye shadow look with winged liner and this one perfect! The applicator is so fine, making it easy to draw a wing and great for beginners!

Loreal Volume Million Lashes // £9.99

I personally prefer plastic comb type mascara wands and the wand on this is brilliant! It catches all the lashes and applies mascara over them easierly creating a fluttery eye look that's perfect for Christmas day. It also doesn't flake or smudge making it a good option for a long day.

Loreal Evas Red // £6.99 (POST)  // NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Angel Food Cake // £5 (POST)

I have two lip options because I cant decide whether to go for a festive red or something less maintaince! Eva's red is my perfect red to suit my skin tone perfectly and would look great on Christmas day! However, with eating, drinking and talking all day a gloss that's easier to apply maybe a better option! Angel food cake is perfect for that its lovely mauve, pinky nude!

So that will be my Christmas day makeup! What will be yours?

Until Next time...
