With NYX being a brand loved by many American beauty gurus when it was available from Boots it was no brainer that I had to try some stuff from the brand. Along with many other NYX products I’m now the proud of owner of this HD foundation. You can check out what else I picked up here.

This is a light diffusing foundation that is infused with a trio of peptides to deliver the appearance of smooth, radiant, flawless skin. It also contains ingredients to boost collagen and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! It comes in 8 shades. I picked up the shade Natural. Which is slightly too dark for me, But hey ho its just a reason to slap on more fake tan!

The consitancy of the foundation is very fluid, making it a dream to blend in! I’d say it has medium coverage that leans more to the light side. But its easily buildable without looking cakey. The finish is satin to matte. I used an illuminating primer with and it left me with a amazing glow to the skin! The wear wasn’t the best. It lasts around 4-6 hours without powdering. But I really liked the finish this foundation gives so I can live with that!

Now, having HD in the title its easy to compare this to the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation – which I wasn’t massive fan of. But I actually prefer the NYX one! Its easier to blend, and the finish is miles better in my opinion! And half the price!

Overall, I really like this foundation! And I have been reaching for it over many of the high end versions! I say that is better suited to those who have normal to dry skin, purely because of the wear time. It also photographs beautifully and skin looks natural and flawless!
