Powders that promise to act as a photo filter in real life - I'm all over that. So here I am, the proud owner of these nifty powders! These are lightweight finishing powders, housed in a sturdy cardboard, mirrored compact. Too Face claim that these undetectable powders mimic the effect of your favourite photo filter by using light diffusing technology.
There are three powders that all have a different effect on the skin:
Sunrise - this is yellow powder which instantly brightens and adds warmth.
Totally Toasted - is a bronze colour. To give a gorgeous, sun kissed look to the skin.
Moon River - a lavender toned powder to help brighten shallow complexions.
All three of these powders are soft, they almost feel creamy to touch. They add a very subtle veil to skin and they are undetectable on the skin. My favourites are Totally toasted and Sunrise. I like to dust Sunrise all over my face and Totally toasted on all the areas the sun would naturally hit. And this really does give me a gorgeous glow to the skin. I don't really like Moon river, to be honest this doesn't really do anything to my skin, which is kind of disappointing.
Overall, I really like these powders. I tend avoid powders because I find them too drying for my skin. These didn't dry my skin out at all. So these make a great alternative to everyday setting powders. My only issue is they do require a bit of building to have any effect.
