With my trusty Body Shop Vitamin E serum and night cream coming to an end, I wanted to test out some new things. My skin seems to being dryer and more dehydrated so I was in the market for something more nourishing. And here I am with these two:
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum | £22.50
Everywhere I seem to look someone is raving about a product from Vichy, so I had to see what all the hype was about. I decided to go for this serum targeted at dry / dehydrated skin. This serum has been formulated to sooth dry / dehydrated and keep it hydrated for 24 hours, using Vichy Thermal Spring water to deliver intense moisture to the top layers of skin. The serum itself is really watery and melts into the skin like a dream. I absolutely love this stuff. My skin definitely feels softer, smoother and more plump looking. I use this morning and night before moisturiser.
I picked this up as well after hearing so many good things. This is an intense moisturiser for Dry parched skin. It also claims its gentle enough for sensitive skin. Its enriched with shea butter, Eucoliptus and oatmeal, known for their ultra moisturising properties, as well antioxidants to protect against further skin damage. This is a face and body cream so it be used any where skin needs extra TLC. Along with the Vichy serum these are a dry skin dream team! Since using this my skin has never felt better! Its so soft and smooth. Dehydration is kept at bay. I don't use this in the morning though, because it is so thick. And bit too heavy for me. But applied at night, in the morning my skin is so soft and radiant looking. This crème is a must for anyone with dry skin! I will definitely be repurchasing the bigger size.
Have you tried either of these? What are your recommendations for dry skin?
Until next time...
