7 Days 7 Foundations.

Hi, I'm Leanne and I'm addicted to buying foundations. Yes, I would go as far to say I'm addicted to buying foundations. I'm on a mission to find the perfect one, I've come close to finding the one but I'm convinced there's a better one out there. Maybe I'm too picky, who knows? But last week I used a different foundation everyday of the week, so today I thought I'd share them with you. A kind of my week in foundations...

Monday;

Kiko CC Cushion Foundation | £15.60                                                                            POST

Last week I did a discovering KIKO Post, when I'm reviewing products I like to use the products right before, just so I know my thoughts haven't changed or I notice something new about product. I quite like this foundation though. I'm not sure on the whole point of the cushion system, but the foundation is light weight, easy to blend and has buildable coverage. This is too drying for me with some primers and the lasting power isn't great.

Tuesday:

L'OrĂ©al Infallible Sculpt | £8.99                                                                                             POST

This isn't marketed as a foundation, but as a base that is ideal for contouring on top of. Its basically a foundation. And a really good one. Its easy to blend and lasts all day. The coverage is medium to light but buildable. It gives a lovely radiant finish, which I love. This is definitely a drug store foundation to check out! Check out a few things I picked up from the new L'oreal sculpt range.

Wednesday:

NYX HD Foundations | £12.50                                                                                             POST

Wednesdays are the days I usally run errands, head into town etc. so I want a foundation I can trust. So I went for this offering from NYX. This is a way better HD Foundation than the famous Makeup Forever version. It gives the most lovely radiant, glowy finish, blurs imperfections and gives a flawless finish. All that you would expect from a foundation deemed as HD.  It isn't too drying for my dehydrated skin and stays looking good for around 6+ hours without powder. I don't know why I don't use this more often!

Thursday:

I completely forgot I had this foundation. Bad, I know! So when I spotted it, I decided to use it! For me long lasting / matte foundations don't normally work for my dehydrated skin, but this one works really well. Its described as having light coverage, but I find it more on the medium side. The finish is skin - matte. I normally prefer a more glowy foundation but that's nothing a highlighter and illuminating blushes didn't sort out. And the staying power is brilliant! This was still pretty much perfect when it came to removing my makeup!

Friday:

This foundation is just amazing! It gives the skin some serious glow and radiance. I recently posted about this, so I don't wana sound repeative read the Glowing Skin Kit. The flaw with this foundation is the packaging. It has pipette applicator, which I just find annoying, I definitely prefer a pump!

Saturday:

Essence Stay All Day Foundation | £3.40                                                                                POST

I picked this up after hearing someone on YouTube rave about it and with it being less than £5 it was a no brainer. It promises to be light weight, and last 16 hours. At under a fiver, I wasn't sure this would be any good. But I was actually pleasantly surprised! I mean its not the best foundation I've used, but far from the worst! it has a demi matte finish. It didn't last all day, lasted around 6 hours, which was disappointing as it wasn't a finish that I like.

Sunday:

I talked about how I'm unsure if I like this foundation in Sundays post,  So head to the Sunday Edit. But I'm going to keep persevering with it, because I really want to like it! Don't get me wrong, the coverage and lasting power is good and I can see why people love this foundation, I think oilier skins would really enjoy this!

What foundation have you been using this week? Leave me recommendations below, because I just love buying new ones!

Until next time...
