An Evening Of Beauty With Farfetch

I was kindly invited down to the London MakeUp School to celebrate the launch of the Beauty Area on Farfetch.com. If you didn't know FarFetch is a gobal luxury clothing Boutique, and online store, now they're extending their expertise to beauty!! Make sure you head over to they're website (here) and check it out! They have amazing products from the likes of Becca, Eve Lom and By Terry to name a few.

At the school we were welcomed with Prosecco and soft drinks and had a chance to mingle with other bloggers and the organisers, which was lovely! Before sitting down to hear how to create the lastest beauty looks from the Spring Summer 16 catwalks. My favourites were:

Au Natural - A no makeup, makeup look. Where the makeup artist stressed the importance of skin prep. A good cleanse and moisturiser are important to stop makeup clinging to dry areas. And the importance of a primer for those who have more oily skin.

Loud lips - Loud lips was all about metallics. The makeup artist talked about using other makeup products to create a look, such as using pigments or gel liner.

Bold Blush -  Bold Blush was seen on the catwalk from Diane Von Furstenberg, the whole look was inspired by a water melon. The look included bright green eyes and bascially apply blush were you would highlighter. Granted this look wasn't the most wearable but I really liked it and could be easily toned down. The Makeup Artist had incredible talent, and made each look appear effortless to apply!

After that we then had an opportunity to mingle some more and have a look re created on ourselves. I went for Loud Lips which was a metallic lipstick that was seen on the runway from Miu Miu. I actually really liked the lips and they suited me surprisingly well. It was a beautiful Gold / Copper colour. I'm gutted I didn't get the name of it because I would actually wear it. This trend can also be seen in the form of Kylie Jenner Liquid Lipsticks, which I'm now desperate get my hands on. There was also a photobooth which was so much fun! I can't stop laughing at the photos.

Thank you so much to the lovely Eleasha and the Farfetch team for inviting me. It was such a great evening and it was nice to meet the everyone and all the other bloggers.

Until next time...
