4 Brilliant Eye Brighteners

Concealers are starting to be come a bit of an obsession of mine. I find myself buying all the latest launches in the hope of banishing my dark circles! But in recent years, colour correctors are certainly having their moment. And for good reason! I definitely find they make a massive difference in hiding more dark circles. So today I thought I'd share with you my favourite colour correctors which brighten up my under eyes...

LA Girl Pro HD high Definition Concealer | £4.99

I hate to bore regular readers because I always talk about this! I have the shade Yellow which really adds brightness to the under eye area and conceals my dark circles at the same time. The formula is really nice; it's creamy, easy to blend, well pigmented and doesn't crease. I have tried the Orange version of this but it's just too pigmented - no regular concealers will cover it! I have also tried the regular skin tone shades but I've found the formula is different. The regular ones are really dry and crack on me. But the Yellow shade is perfect! And for just £4.99 I can't recommend this enough.

NYX 3c Contour, Correct, Concealer palette | £9.99

I actually picked this up because it's a concealer and contour palette, in the shade 01 fair ,so I wanted it for contouring purposes. But the Peachy shade in the bottom right corner is an amazing eye brightener! It really conceals and brightens up the whole area. The formula is very thick and sticky, so probably best to avoid this if you don't like this type of concealer. But it does blend out well. I like to apply with my Real Techniques Foundation Brush and pat it on. I then go over it with a Beauty Blender to ensure it is fully blended. This does also need setting to prevent creasing. It does take slightly longer to apply but when you have dark circles like mine, it really is worth the extra leg work! Once I've done this my dark circles are unnoticeable!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye | £26

While this is more of a concealer than a corrector, it is one of the best concealers for brightening up the under eye area. I have the shade Fair and I really should have gone a few shades darker because it's almost White on my skin but I just apply a few coats of regular concealer over the top. This is described as full coverage and it really is! Again this is quite thick and takes some extra work blending but it's well worth it because the coverage is incredible!

NYX Concealer Jar | £5.50

This is another old favourite! I have the shade Yellow which works so well at counteracting my dark circles. This is more on the thick side but not as thick as the NYX palette. It also blends out so easily! I like to just use my fingers and I'm good to go!

So there's some of my favourite eye correctors and brighteners! Do leave you recommendations below because I love a good concealer!
