Another month gone, means another favorites post! This month I've discovered so many new things that I can safely say there are no staples in my routine. So let's get into it...
Makeup
If you follow my Instagram you'll know I've been feeling spending. I'm very happy although my bank balance isn't. But good news is I absolutely love some of the things I picked...
I love warm toned shadows. So I was 99% sure I'd love it before I'd even brought it. And I'm in love. Most of this palette are matte shades with a couple shimmers. The Formula and pigmention of the shades is incredible! I'm completely blown away by them and I've been reaching for it most days! See my full review with swatches here.
Another winner from ABH in my book. This palette contains 4 good sized highlighters. Which is actually pretty good value for money, especially considering how buttery soft and beautiful they are. Each pan is inspired by the sun. Ranging from a Peachy Gold to a Bronze colour. My favourite is Moonstone, it's a beautiful Peachy Champagne colour, that catches and reflects the light perfectly, while adding radiance to face. If I'm going for a really dewy look, I like to dap a little of the shade Bronzed over my bronzer for a really dewy, sun-kissed look.
NYX Butter Gloss | £5.50 | POST
In July I've become obsessed with glossy lips. And this is the Gloss that started it all! The shade Madeline is a lovely Brown nude. The formula really is like butter, and isn't sticky at all! I can't recommend the Butter Glosses enough.
With the hot weather at the beginning of the month, keeping makeup actually on my face has been a struggle. But this setting spray from NYX has really helped! It says its dewy but I didn't notice it altered my makeup at all. But if it does keep it looking fresher and lasting longer. This has become a daily essential!
Skincare
With the weather being so hot, I've found myself reaching for lighter, more refreshing products, but still adding hydration and something that is going to give me a deep clean...
I absolutely love this stuff! I've nearly used a whole bottle. I've been using it twice a day throughout July and I've really noticed a huge difference in my skin. It's thicker than your average serum, which I wasn't too sure about at first but, It's super hydrating and leaves my skin feeling so soft. Since using it I've noticed my skin is smoother and I haven't had as many breakouts. My dehydration has also been kept at bay. It's packed full of ingredients such as Seaweed (to protect from the signs of ageing) and Tyriglycerides, To help smooth and plump the skin. An all round winner!
I picked this up on a bit a whim at the beginning month and I'm so glad I did. It's an exfoliating and nourishing mask in one. I apply a thick layer, wait 10 minutes and left with super smooth, nourished skin. It doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped like most exfoliating masks tend to do, but it still feels like all the dead skin cells are gone! It's really easy to remove too. I high recommend this!
Indeed labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Sheet Masks | £19.99
These were an absolute steal. I picked them up from TK Maxx for £4.99 I think they normally retail for around £20. They are saturated in a high potency serum thats hydrated, plumps and firms the skin. They really do add an intense burst of hydration to the skin, and left my skin softer and more radiant. I will definitely be repurchasing them.
Other..
I've also been loving this brush. It can be used with liquid or powder products for a flawless base. But I really like this for applying foundation. The bristles are so soft and densely packed, making them perfect for fuller coverage foundations. It buffs the foundation into the skin with so much ease. I washed it too, and hasn't shed or lost its shade. Not only is this a brilliant brush, 12% of the whole sales go to a cancer charity that helps with the visible effects of cancer!
I've been loving straight hair this month. Thanks to this amazing tool! I have really thick, curly hair and most straighteners struggle to give me a silky smooth, straight finish. But not these! They're brilliant. They don't feel like they overly damage my hair either. Check out my full review with before and after pictures here!
So that's everything I've been loving throughout the month of July! What have you been loving?
Until next time...
