So I'm on a spending ban again. So to make me feel better about it I've been shopping my stash and found some old favourites that I'd completely forgotten about. So I thought I'd share them with you today...
Too Faced Hangover Primer | £27 | POST
I have quite a collection of primers, so I'm rotating them. But for some reason I'd completely forgotten about this one. I'm not to sure why because it's brilliant. It's packed full of vitamins to plump and hydrate the skin and gives it a subtle radiance.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation | £29 | POST
When this first came out it I was not disappointed by this. It gives the skin a really nice glow, lasts a long time and does look so natural on the skin! I'm not too sure why I don't use this more. Plus I'm really resisting buying the matching concealer, which has just come out.
Benefit Watts Up Highlighter | £24.50 | POST
This used to be my go to highlighter. It's a beautiful Champagne toned highlight, in a stick formula. I tend to find most stick highlighters move my makeup underneath, but this doesn't. The consistency is quite stiff, which I really like. It also means it doesn't smudge or transfer throughout the day. But what I loved most about this is how well it diffuses the skin and blurs it.
Bourjois Radiance Revel Concealer | £7.99 | POST
I'm not quite sure why this got pushed to the back of the concealer draw, because it's a great drugstore gem. It's so glow-y. It really brightens up the under eye area. I would like it more if it had a bit more coverage, it's definitely more on a lighter shade. But it's pretty good, it lasts well and doesn't crease.
Seventeen Skin Wow Cream Bronzer | £4.99
I used to love this cream bronzer. I used to use it for contouring although, I think it might be a bit too warm now. But I'm excited to use it just to bronze up my complexion. It's nice and easy to blend and lasts all day on my dehydrated skin.
L'Oreal Colour Riche Mono Eye Shadows | £5.49 | POST
I also seem to forget about single shadows. It's just so much easier to reach for a palette where everything is in one place. But I used to love this and I think they are so under rated. The formula is incredible for a drugstore brand. They're so creamy, so pigmented and blend like a dream. The shades I have are: Macaroon Ville, which is a creamy, matte, Yellow Beige colour. And Luminer which is a stunning shimmery Champagne Gold. I'm excited to give these a try and I really need to get more shades!
MAC lipstick | £15.50 | POST
Ah the famous Velvet Teddy! I always say that this is my all time favourite lipstick. But these days I don't actually reach for it that much. I really need to though, it's my perfect nude! It's a Brown toned nude with slight Pink under tones. It's from the Matte range, I do know there are some inconsistencies with the matte line but this one is so creamy, comfortable and long lasting.
So theres a little round of some favourites I'd forgotten about. Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
