Autumn Eyes, Cheeks & Lips

I just love everything about Autumn. Although I've never actually had a Pumpkin Spiced Latte. I know, I know can I even call myself a blogger? But Fun Fact I don't like hot drinks. But the one thing I love the most is Autumn makeup, dark, vampy and berry hues. So today I have a little round up of Lip, cheek and eyeshadows perfect for Autumn / winter.

Eyes...

Who am I trying to kid I've been using this all summer. But the shades are so stunning and are perfect for autumn. This palette houses 14 shadows, most are matte but there are a couple of shimmers in there. Ranging from warm Oranges to cool Taupes. The formula of these are one of the best I've tried. They are so buttery, pigmented and easy to apply and work with. My favourite shade is Red Oaker, which is a warm, burnt Orange colour. The palette is so versatile and you can create anything from a matte day time look to something more dramatic for the evening.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo | £4.99 | POST

This comes out every autumn. Just look at that shade. It's beautiful! The shade is Pomegranate Red, with a rusty shimmer to it. These Colour Tattoos are perfect when you are in a rush, just apply with a finger and go. Plus the lasting power is insane. They don't crease or smudge. Once they've set they last all day on me. I've not actually worn it for 24hrs but I reckon they probably would.

If you've read my Colour Pop haul, you would have seen I fell totally in love with their Fall collection, which pretty much sums up autumn in the shades. Elixir is a warm Terracotta Brown that works really well as a crease / transition colour. And Paradox is a deep Burgundy colour; this works well in the outer v, crease and lower lash line. The Colour Pop formula is like nothing I've tried before. It's so difficult to describe, the best way is it's like a dry mousse. But they're really pigmented, blendable and long lasting.

Cheeks...

Milani Baked Blush | £8 | POST

The shade Berry Amore is another shade I always dig out around this time of year. As the name suggests it's a Purple-y Berry colour with Gold shimmers running through it. This gives such a nice healthy glow to the cheeks. The formula is finely milled and easy to blend.

Max Factor Creme Puff blush | £8.99

Max Factor is not a brand I tend to gravitate towards, but this blush is not to be over looked. At £8.99 they're on the pricey end of the drugstore blush scale, but for good reason. They are brilliant. The shade Gorgeous Berries in particular is perfect for autumn. It's another Berry colour. The formula is so soft and applies evenly and lasts well. I highly recommend checking this out.

This blush is another gem from the Colour Pop Fall collection. The shade  is a warm rusty Red colour with a pearlized finish. At first this did scare me, it is so pigmented, like an eyeshadow. But with a very light hand, this blends out and leaves the cheeks with a lovely flush of colour. The formula is the same mousse texture as their eyeshadows. I like to use my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply it.

Sometimes bold lips and eyes call for something more subtle on the cheeks. And this offering from Stila is perfect for those days. The shade Peony is a Mauve nude colour, that would suit most skin tones and any makeup look. This is a cream formula, which is perfect for the cooler months when my skin becomes dryer and powder products just won't sit right. It being a cream doesn't mean it will move around or rub off, once this is on it doesn't budge on me.

Lips...

Now lips are the fun part, I love a bold matte lip for autumn.

Rimmel Kate Moss 107 | £5.49

How could I do an autumn post and not include this? This has been a cult blogger autumn favourite for many years now. The super matte creamy, comfortable formula paired with the stunning Berry shade. What's not to love? And it's so cheap. If you're looking for an autumn lip colour at an affordable price, I highly recommend this shade.

I'm not going to go into too much detail about the controversy surrounding Jeffree Star (I have a post about that coming soon) but I can't deny this liquid lipstick is amazing. The shade Androgyny is muted. The formula really is good to. It's super matte, but without being drying and so long lasting!

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip | $6 | POST

Another liquid lipstick comes in the form of another addition from the ColourPop Fall collection. The shade Calypso is a perfect dusky Rose nude colour. This is great for everyday wear. These aren't drying at all and have a satin finish, as the name would suggest. While, this isn't the most long lasting liquid lipstick I've ever tried the shade and comfortable formula make up for it.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick | £15 | POST

I'm completely smitten with the new Vice line. And my collection is slowly growing. This shade, Hitch-Hike, is a deep Rose colour. It's bold but not too bold at the same time. This shade is from the comfort matte line. I've tried a few from this line and I'm really impressed by them all. They are matte, creamy and opaque all while being so comfortable on the lips. This will be an autumn favourite.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick | £23

I have a love hate relationship with these lipsticks. They are so pretty but so expensive! The shade Bond Girl is a Plum-y Brown colour. That adds a bit of that autumn colour but without being too over the top. While I do really like the shade it's a bit on the sheer side for a £23 lipstick. I also find I have to really prep my lips or this is too drying. But all that aside this a great shade for autumn.

So theres a little round of some products that I'll be using throughout Autumn.

Have you tried any of these? What are you thoughts?

Until next time...
