I've been testing quite a few high-end products over the past month. Most of which has been skincare but I'm ready to share these exciting products with you!
DiorSnow Bloom Perfect Brightening Perfect Moist Cushion SPF50- PA+++ * | £50
Cushion foundations are popping up here they and everywhere, and Dior are the newest on the bandwagon. With the Cushion Compact that is saturated in foundation that promises that it adds luminosity and moisture to the skin. Not only is this a regular foundation it also contains added skincare benefits that nourish, fade dark spots, and add natural radiance to the skin for long-lasting effects. The compact comes with a round sponge type applicator, which is actually pretty good for applying the foundation but I still prefer a brush. The formula is nice, light and easy to blend. The coverage is a medium and it unifies the complexion well. The finish is just the kind I like from a foundation, dewy but not too dewy! This is a welcomed addition to my collection and I've found myself reaching for it a lot.
Hylamide Finisher HA Blur | £19 | POST
I'm not sure if this counts as high-end but it's slightly more pricy than primers you would find in the drugstore. This primer is a blurring primer that uses Hyaluran Acid powders to shatter light and make skin appear smoother and make imperfections look less noticeable. I've been using this for weeks and I'm not sure if it actually noticeably blurs my skin. But it does leave a really nice smooth base for makeup. It also helps my makeup wear for longer. At first I was a little worried that this would be too drying for me but it isn't and works well under all my favourite foundations.
Lylith D'or Optimum Serum* | £42 | POST
This serum has quickly made its way into a daily staple in my skincare routine. This specially formulated steam cells from Swiss Apples to fight the signs of ageing. While I don't have any wrinkles yet, I think it's never too early to start preventing them! It also contains fruit and amino acids to hydrate the skin and give it a more plump appearance. This really helps to hydrate my skin and leaves it silky smooth and hydrated. The consistency is really light and watery so it absorbs instantly and works well under makeup. A great little discovery!
Caudaile Beauty Elixir | £11
I'm so late to the party with this! It was really talked about a while back. This nifty face mist promises to help skin look more radiant and smooth the skin, with ingredients such as Grape water and Rosemary. I haven't been using this long but already I'm impressed! This instantly made my skin feel smoother and more nourished! I'm yet to see the long term effects but I'm sure they will be amazing! This is quickly becoming a firm favourite.
Aurelia Miracle Cleanser | £38 | POST
I talked about this is in yesterdays post (here) But I'm so impressed with it I can't stop talking about it. I only have the mini size but I will be purchasing the full size because it's one of the best cleansers I've ever tried. It's a cream cleanser that melts away makeup with ease. And leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, smoother and nourished. I've not tried a cleanser yet that leaves my skin so nourished! I'm amazed!
Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil | £55 (full size)
Another Aurelia discovery is this little oil that I've been using everyday since I got it. I'm a huge fan of facial oils that nourish and improve my skins appearance over night and this one is no exceptions. I found it to be slightly heavier than some of my other oils but it still absorbs quickly. It's super hydrating and has really improved the texture of my skin. I'm also getting less breakouts which is also a plus. I can't recommend this enough.
So that's all the high-end discoveries I've come across!
Have you tried any of these? What are you thoughts?
Until next time...
