Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Kit - Worth the Hype?

I think the whole beauty community have gone crazy for the Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection. This palette got my attention. I love a highlighter, and a highlighter with a stunning looking blush and bronzer? I'm sold. Like my Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette - worth the hype post, I thought I review this in a similar format...

Ordering and Delivery...

Too Faced is now available at Debenhams and Selfridges so it's pretty easy to get your hands on without any nasty customs charges.

Cost...

This little palette will set you back £34. Which, if the products are good, I'm happy to pay. Especially, for a highlighter. The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors cost £32 so an extra £2 for a blush and bronzer doesn't seem so bad.

Packaging...

I love the quirky packaging of the whole Sweet Peach Collection and this is no exception. The powders are housed in sturdy tin packaging.

The Product...

As I said the glow palette consists of a bronzer, blush and a highlighter. Which all look stunning and smell of Peaches.

The bronzer looks like a nice warm shade, perfect for bronzing the skin and adding a sun kissed glow. But unfortunatly this lacks pigmentation and is barely visible on me. This may work for very pale complexions but for me (I'm a Mac NC30-35) this just isn't great. As you can see, it really didn't swatch well.

The blush is a lovely Peachy Coral shade with Gold shimmers running through it. This is slightly more pigmented than the blush, but I was expecting some more from a high end blush. But it is nice, It applies evenly and blends nicely. I think I will be reaching for it a lot more over the summer.

And finally the highlighter. This is a such a pretty Peachy, warmed toned highlighter. It applies well and gives the skin a nice subtle sheen. On me this is more of a subtle, everyday highlighter than an intense one.

Is it worth the Hype...

So is this worth the hype? While I do like this palette and the packaging is really stunning, I was expecting more from this palette. I don't regret buying it and I will continue to use it but it didn't wow me in the way I was hoping. I can see why people like this palette and why their is a lot of hype around it but for me it's just a nice palette. If you have a lot of bronzers, blushes or highlighters you probably won't miss this from your collection!

Have you tried this palette? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
