What's in my Shower

I really enjoy 'What's in my Shower' and 'What's on my bedside table' kind of post so today I thought I'd share mine. It doesn't really need an introduction so let's get into it...

The Bodyshop Shower Gels | £5

Obviously I keep shower gel in the shower. I have two Bodyshop options I've been rotating. One of which is the Vanilla Chai scent. I picked up a couple of bottles over christmas because I love the scent! And I love christmas so whenever I feel down or want a pick me up I use this and it instantly makes me feel better. The Second one I have is the Morgina Shower gel which as a nice fresh, uplifting scent. They both foam really well and leave my skin feeling clean but not stripped.

Garnier Body Tonic Scrub | £6.99

Being a false tanner, scrub is a must for me! This Garnier body scrub option is my favourite. It has good scrubby particles that really remove dead skin and every scrap of false tan. It also smells so nice and fresh! It leaves my skin so soft. It also foams up and is easy to spread around the body and it rinses without leaving any residue or oil behind.

Hempz In shower Hydrating Herbal Body Moisturiser* | $11.90

In the shower, body moisturisers have been a real game changer for me. I'm so rubbish at applying body moisturiser so doing it in the shower makes it super easy. This one smells nice, I'm rubbish at describing scents but it smells fresh and sweet but not sticky sweet. It contains ingrediants like Shea Butter and Hemp Seed Oil to nourish and hydrate. The cream itself is quite thick but easy to smooth all over the body and rinse off. I also really like it as a shaving cream (for my legs) for a super smooth shave. My skin is left super soft and hydrated after using this.

Toni & Guy Smooth Definition Shampoo & Conditioner for dry hair* | £5.99

I have a whole load of shampoos and conditioners in my shower. but I didn't want this post to be super long so I thought I'd just show the ones I'm currently using! Which are from the Toni & Guy Smooth Definition range. I have very thick, dry, frizzy hair so anything smoothing is right up my street. It's shampoo has quite a thick texture and looks more like a regular conditioner but it lathers up really well and rinses with ease. It removes all dirt and build up without being too stripping.

The conditioner is really thick and doesn't drip or run off hands when applying it! I like to leave it on for as long as possible, normally around 5 minutes. It doesn't take long to rinse out of the hair either - there's nothing worse than conditioners that takes ages to rinse out. After my hair instantly feels softer and smoother. Once my hair is dry it looks a lot more shiny to.

Sexy Hair Smooth Extender Intense Conditioner* | £16.95

I always use an intense conditioner when I wash my hair because it helps the moisture levels my hair needs. I've been testing this one from Sexy Hair and I really like it. It targets unruly, dry hair. I don't like the name of this brand but the conditioner itself is really nice. First of all the packaging is revolutionary! Rather than having a regular screw of lid it has a flip top lid. Which makes it so much easier to use in the shower! The consistency of the conditioner is very thick and rich and smells really nice. I like to leave it on for 5-10 minutes and rinse. It leaves my hair soft and a lot easier to brush and dry.

ColourVibe Conditioning Shampoo* | £2.99 | POST

Lastly I have this toner. Having Ombre Blond hair means it can look brassy. I don't use this every time I wash my hair, I like to use it once a week or when I feel my hair needs it. It's a Purple toner that promises to leave hair looking Ash Blonde. This works really well! I leave it on for 2-3 minutes and Orange hair is transformed to a nice cool, Blonde colour.

So that's what is currently in my shower.

Have tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
