My Milani Collection

If you follow me on Instagram you'll probably have seen me declare my undying love for Milani on several occasions! They're one of my favourite affordable brands and since coming to the Uk I have been slowing adding to my collection so I thought it was about time I shared it with you guys...

Milani Perfect 2in1 Foundation & Concealer | £12.99

Starting with this foundation that has some pretty rave reviews and for good reason. This is a great affordable foundation. It's described as a concealer and foundation in one, so it has pretty full coverage. The formula is lightweight, creamy and blend-able. It has a satin finish that's not too dewy nor to matte. I don't find this wears overly well on me though. But it's a great solid foundation.

Milani Bronzer | £10.99

This bronzer is my to go bronzer! The shade Solero has a warm tone to it so it's perfect for creating a sun kissed glow. It also has subtle Gold shimmers in it that really give my complexion a healthy glow, but nothing over the top. It's also not too pigmented but it's build-able so there's no risk of going over bored! It applies smoothly and wears well. There's nothing not to love!

Milani Illuminating Face Powder* | £11.99

This is like a face powder, blush, highlighter hybrid. The shade Amber Nector works as a subtle blush on me. This isn't my favourite Milani product but the stunning powder design makes it difficult to part with!

Milani Secret Cover Concealer | £6.99

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I don't like this concealer. It's a pot concealer that doesn't really translate to anything on the face! It really sheers out to barely any coverage and it's quite oily.

Milani Retouch Concealer* | £11.99

Now this concealer is completely different! I love this. It's a brightening concealer, that has really good coverage and really concealers and brightens my horrendous dark circles! The formula is creamy and easy to blend. This is prone to creasing slightly on me but most concealers do, nothing a bit of powder doesn't sort out! It also wears all day on me! I have two shades 02 and 03. Both work well for highlighting my under eyes but 02 gives a more dramatic highlighted look and 03 looks more natural. I'm not the biggest fan of the sponge ball applicator but I can forgive it because it's such I great concealer!

Milani Glowy Powder Highlighter* | £12.99

Highlighters are a weakness so as soon as I heard good reviews on these I needed them! I have two shades Day Glow and Sun Glow. Day glow is a Champagne tone and Sun Glow is more Golden. Both of these are buttery soft and translate beautifully onto the face. Neither have glitter particles. They just have a gorgeous sheen to them that catches the light perfectly!

Milani Baked Blushes* | £9.99

I feel like Milani are famous for these Baked Blushes! They have a large variety of shades available. I have 4 shades:

Luminso - a cult favourite! This is a Peachy shade with shimmers in it. It looks stunning on the cheeks. It gives a really nice glow to the cheeks and instantly makes me look more alive and awake.

Berry Amore - This is my personal favourite. It's a Berry toned blush with Gold shimmers in. I just find these shades suit my skin tone better.

Dolce Pink - This doesn't look as scary as it does in the pan. In person this looks like a bright Pink with loads of Gold shimmer in it. But this actually translates as a soft Pink with a subtle sheen to it.

Coralina - This is another one of my favourites that looks scary in the pan! But this actually translates to a natural flushed colour. It really makes me look alive and suits my skin tone really well.

All of these are pigmented, finely milled and apply well to the cheeks. Over the Three I've tried the formula seems pretty consistent. These are definitely worth checking out!

Milani Rose Blush | £11.99

When I first brought this (last year) It didn't really excite me. But I've recently fallen in love with it! I have the shade Romantic Rose which is a great, wearable matte, Mauve colour. It goes with any makeup look. Like the Baked Blushes this applies so smoothly and evenly. Plus how stunning is the Rose design?

Milani Everyday Eyeshadow | £12.99

I picked this up on a whim and I'm really surprised more people don't talk about this! This dinky little palette houses 6 shadows with a mix of matte and shimmers. The palette is called Earthy Elements and all the shades are quite warm - which I love! It has everything to create a variety of eye looks without the overwhelming choice of regular, larger palettes. The shadow themselves are really soft, pigmented and easy to work with. For just £12.99 this is an absolute steal!

Milani Colour Statement Matte Lipsticks | £6.99

Milani matte lipsticks are also brilliant! I have Two shades Confident and Matte Beauty. Matte Beauty seems to have eluded the picture. But the shade is a matte, warm toned Brown, that's something a bit bolder than your everyday nude. Confident is a bright Red colour. Both are super creamy, long lasting and really comfortable for matte lipsticks.

Milani Amore Metallic lip* | £9.99

I had one their regular matte liquid lipsticks and I really didn't like it. The formula was super drying and flaked off my lips after an hours wear. But the Metallic formula is different. I have the shade Pretty Problematic which is a deep Berry shade. It's not overly metallic so it's actually pretty wearable. It was far more comfortable than the regular ones and nowhere near as drying. If your into the metallic lip tread then definitely check these out!

Milani Keep It Secret Lip Scrub* | £12.99

I've not really had much experience with actual lip scrubs, I just use regular sugar. So I was super excited to try this. But I was kind of disappointed. I didn't find there was enough scrubby particles in it to actually do anything. It just felt like a nice balm!

Milani Keep It Smooth Luxe Lip Treatment* | £12.99

After my experience with the lip scrub I didn't have high hopes for this. But I was pleasantly surprised. This is a rich nourishing balm for dry, chapped lips. I found this super hydrating. It has become a hand bag staple!

Milani Make Dew Setting Spray | £12.99

This also managed to escape the picture. But this is another great product from Milani. It's a setting spray that really works. The mist action is brilliant, it's really fine and covers the face evenly. It makes my makeup look more blended, in the same way Mac Fix+ does and helps my makeup stay on that bit longer. It says it's supposed to give skin a dewy finish but I didn't find it actually altered the dewiness of my base. But that aside, I really like this! It's definitely worth checking out!

Overall, despite a few duds Milani is one of my favourite affordable brands! I really can't recommend them enough! Their single shadows are next on my list.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
