Makeup Lately

Another month means it time to share the makeup I've been reaching for lately...

Becca Backlight Priming Filter | £32 | REVIEW

This is my holy grail primer but being a beauty junkie I'm always testing new things and this quite often gets over looked. But recently I've been reaching for it a lot. It's a primer I know I can rely on regardless of what my skins doing or foundation I'm using. This is a dewy primer that leaves the skin with a sheen. It's perfect for dry or dehydrated skin. If you're oily I probably wouldn't recommend this because it's so dewy. It leaves my skin super smooth and foundation applies like a dream over the top!

L'oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation | £12.95 | REVIEW

I recently ran out of my favourite LA Girl HD foundation and I'm trying to be good with money (I'm failing epically though) so I decided to use one from my extensive collection. And this L'Oreal one has nicely filled the hole LA Girl has left behind. This offering is a dewy foundation that has good coverage, and it's super long wearing! The formula is light and easy to blend. It leaves my skin looking flawless. But this isn't available in the UK. I got mine from Ebay here.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | £28 | REVIEW

To hide my dark circles I've been reaching for this Tarte offering. This has amazing coverage and looks so natural on the skin! It has a satin finish and a formula that blends out with ease. My only issue is it's not as brightening as I would like! But it's still a very good concealer.

Nip+Fab Contour Kit | £15  | REVIEW

For contour this nifty little palette has quickly become my favourite! It has 6 shades that are all great for contouring and highlighting. There are 2 shades in the palette that I probably won't get much use out of. But over all this palette is super pigmented (a light hand is needed) buttery soft and easy to blend. Check out my full review with swatches here.

Milani Highlighter | £12.99 | REVIEW

I've declared my love for Milani and Ive been talking about this highlighter a lot recently so I won't go into to much detail. But I love this highlighter! The shade Day Glow is a beautiful Champagne colour that catches the light beautifully. It doesn't contain any glitter and so finely milled.

Milani Baked Blush | £9.99 | REVIEW

With spring (supposedly) here I've been reaching for this Milani Blush in the shade Carolina. It does look scary in the pan but it translates to such a lovely colour on the cheeks. It gives the perfect natural flushed colour. It does have subtle shimmers in it that instantly makes my complexion so much better, and more awake.

ELF Made for Matte 2 palette | £12.50

There has been some hype around Elf launching in Superdrug but I recently discovered that they do actually ship to the UK! So I've placed a couple of orders and got my hands on this palette! It houses all matte shadows with some brilliant, warm Brown colours and some great pops of colour. All the shades in this palette are really pigmented, apply with ease, are super easy to blend and last all day! It's by far one of the best eyeshadow palettes I've come across at this price!

L'oreal Miss Manga Punky Mascara | £7.99 | REVIEW

For Mascara I've been reaching for this. I really like this mascara. It has a plastic wand, which I tend to prefer in mascaras. It adds length and volume. It does add a lot of volume so it's easy to get clumsy, just something to be aware of. The formula is really long wearing, yet easy to remove. I really can't recommend this enough.

Colour Lippie Stix | $5

I recently made a ColourPop order and I picked a few Lippie Stix. The formula is just so good! The shade I've found myself reaching for almost everyday is the shade Cookie. It's a pale, milky Beige colour. These sort of shades don't normally work well for me, they look like concealer against my skin tone. But this is my perfect pale nude. It's from the matte line which is definitely more satin but I don't mind this. They're super creamy, comfortable and surprisingly long lasting!

Ofra Liquid Lipstick | £11 | REVIEW

When I haven't been reaching for Cookie I've been reaching for this, in the shade Pasander. It's a really nice Rose nude colour. The formula is one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas. It has a slightly mousse like consistency that's easy to apply and dries down matte, without being drying. It's long lasting and comfortable!

So that's the makeup I've been reaching for!

Have your tried any of these? What products have you been reaching for recently?
