Achieving the Perfect Manicure at Home

Even if I had the money I don't think I'd get a professional manicure regularly, I love painting my nails and I find it very therapeutic! Whenever I'm stressed or feeling a bit down I paint my nails and it instantly makes me feel better. I've found a few products that keep my nails looking good and give a high gloss salon finish. So achieving the perfect manicure at home has never been so easy...

Dr Lewinns Renunail Nail Strengthener* | £11

This treatment is a total lifesaver for my peeling, week nails. I took the Renunail 28 day Challenge and my nails were completely transformed! All you have to do is apply two coats to clean nails and then everyday for 5 days after, on the 6th day remove and repeat the process for 28 days. My nails were so long and the peeling issue was nowhere near as bad! I found this kind of acted as a hard layer which protected my nails underneath. I've also used this under nail polish and works well as a base coat too! This is a must have for an at home manicure.

Nail HQ Cuticle Oil* | £5.99

Hydrated cuticles are a must for nice looking nails. My cuticles get so dry and I can't cut them off myself so keeping them hydrated is essential for me. I've been loving this one from HQ Nails. It's a fasting acting oil that smells amazing!

Essie Gel Nail Polishes | £9.99

Essie's original nail polish formula is one of my all time favourites, the high gloss finish and longevity is one of the best I've come across. But their Gel Line is even better! It's glossier and even more long wearing. I get 2-3 days before it chips, which is good for me, I've found other nail polishes chip within a day. The shade range is really good, and one of my favourites is Pre Show Jitters which is a White colour with a very slight Pink under tone.

HQ Nails Gel Top Coat* | £5.99

A good top coat is my secret to the perfect looking nails and this one is one of my favourites. I like it more than Sche Vite! It gives a gel like shine and helps my manicure last longer. I find this also helps speed up the time it takes to dry! It's for sure one my manicure essentials, I really can't recommend it enough.

There are my favourite products for a the perfect at home manicure.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
