I love testing new things, and trying to find my holy grail products or tools. So when a product becomes a staple in my routine it's a pretty big deal (Well for me anyway). But when I do find myself reaching for them day in and day out they no longer excite me, in the way a brand new shiny highlighter does! But today I thought it was about time I shared those staple products with you...
Arconic Hair Brush* | £19
Most people won't find a hair brush exciting but over recent years I've discovered that using a good hairbrush makes such a huge difference to my hair, and how it styles! This Acorn Paddle is amazing! It's a brush designed for blow drying hair straight. It's unique design means it dries long, thick hair quickly and easily. This makes blow drying my crazy thick hair an absolute doddle! It's also super light weight and easy to hold. I use this everytime I wash my hair and it's really a miracle worker!
Becca Backlight Priming Filter | £32 | REVIEW
Ok so I don't actually forget to talk about this and it's not really an everyday essential, I'm always testing new primers. But this is the one I always come back to. If I want my makeup to look flawless I know I can rely on this. It's a glow enhancing primer, that leaves behind such a gorgeous glow! It smooths over my dehydrated skin like nothing, and ensures my makeup applies flawlessly!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye | £26 | REVIEW
I think I used to talk about this concealer loads when I first got it but I don't think I have recently. But this is one of my favourite all time concealers to cover my dark circles. It has super full coverage, I imagine the coverage won't be for everyone but for me wow! It covers my dark circles like no other concealer in my collection. It is on the thick side so I use a Beauty Blender to blend it and set it to prevent creasing. I can't imagine ever not using this as an everyday staple for sure!
Beautiful Brows Brow Powder* | £15
I never used to be a brow powder person until I tried this! And I haven't looked back. I'm not really sure why I haven't got on with brow powders until this one but this is so easy to create a natural, full looking brow. The formula of the powder itself is perfect! It's not too soft it blends out but it's not too stiff it's difficult to work with. The pigmentation is brilliant and the shade Light Brown is spot on.
Makeup Geek Shadows | £4.95 each
I don't wear eyeshadow on everyday bases but if I do 9 times out of 10 it will be these Two from Makeup Geek. I take the shade Creme Brulee all over the lid and through the crease. The shade is a perfect warm toned, medium Brown. I then deepen up the crease with Frappe which is a slightly darker warm toned Brown. The pigmentation and blendabilty of both of these is amazing! I way prefer these over Urban Decay and high-end brands!
Real Techniques Contour Brush | £22.99 (As part of a set)
I can count on one hand the amount of times I've talked about brushes on my blog, it's definitely a topic I need to cover more. But I use this RT brush everyday! It's designed to be a contour brush but for me it's the perfect concealer brush. It's fluffy, fits under my eyes perfectly and blends concealer with utter ease. I've not found a concealer brush I like more than this! It's only available as part of the Core Collection set, which is really frustrating but the other brushes in the set are definitely worth having.
So there's a few of my everyday beauty essentials I forget to talk about.
Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite everyday beauty products?
Until next time...
