Best Skincare Discoveries Of The Year So Far

As promised in my Best Makeup Discoveries Of The Year So Far post, I'm back with my favourite skincare discoveries. I feel like this year I really upped my skincare game and really invested in high-end skincare. Plus there was loads of exciting launches from budget brands! So let's get into it.

Fresh Soy Cleanser* | £32 | REVIEW

This cleanser has to be one of my favourite discoveries. It's a light weight gel cleanser that does an amazing job at cleansing the skin without being stripping or drying. I use it as a second cleanse because it works well on the skin. I haven't had any adverse reactions to this and I actually think this has helped keep my breakouts under control.

Clarins Blue Orchid Oil* | £33 | REVIEW

This has been around for quite sometime but I only got around to trying it this year and I don't know why it took me so long this stuff is amazing. It's a light weight oil that is packed full of plant extracts and skin loving oils to nourish and re balance dehydrated or combination skin. This has transformed my skin. Before I started using this I had some texture issues that would not go but I'm sure this has made them go. I use it as part of my evening routine and in the morning my skin is soft and hydrated.

The Ordinary Peeling Solution | £6.30 | REVIEW

AHA's are one of my favourite skincare products in general and I've tried quite a few but this is by my favourite. The bright Red solution, is to be applied to face and left on for around 10mins before removing. And I'm really blown away by the results of this. My skin instantly has a glow and is so much smoother. Long term AHA's improve the overall tone of the skin, texture, fine lines and pigmentation. If you buy one thing here make it this!

PIXI Hydrating Milky Mist | £18 | REVIEW

I've really discovered a love for facial mists this year and this one has become a staple in my routine. This is essentially a light weight hydrating mist that can be used as part of a skincare routine or over makeup. I like it both ways but I really love it as part of my skincare routine. I use it after cleansing and it gives my skin a nice hydrating boost. It's also really refreshing this morning.

Pur~lisse Blue Lotus Brightening Serum* | $76 | REVIEW

A serum that has really stood out to me is this offering from Pur~lisse. This is a brightening serum that is packed with ingredients to help nourish and hydrate the skin to. This is quite a thick consistency in comparison to other serums but my skin drinks it up. I've been using this for the best part of the year and it has really helped improve my skin. It looks so much brighter and I think this has helped fade the pigmentation issues I have.

There's my skincare favourites of the year so far. I actually thought this would be longer but I tried to stick to my absolute favourites and the ones that I reach for everyday.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until Next time...
