I'm instantly drawn to anything that promises to work overnight. Going to bed and then waking up looking like you've had a facial is the most satisfying feeling. So today I have a little edit of some of my favourite overnight skincare heroes.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair* | £45.05
I've been using this on and off for quite some time now and I recently dug it out because my skin has been so dry. This has really helped my dryness and in the morning my skin feels smooth and hydrated. This is a light watery serum consistency that my skin instantly drinks. I use this as the first step in my evening skincare routine (after cleansing). This is pricey stuff but the hydration results are instant. This also has anti ageing properties so I'm hoping over time this will help with that to.
Pure Purpose Face Oil* | £16.50
This is another super hydrating product that contains only natural ingredients. It's formulated with a potent blend of skin loving oils and nothing else! This is quite a rich nourishing oil that instantly soothes my parched skin.This does take a while to absorb which is why I like to use it at night but in the morning my skin is so soft and all my dry patches are gone. It also smells amazing. And for an oil of this type I think this very reasonably priced.
Teoxane Radiant Night Peel* | £40
Another overnight hero that has become my go to when I want a glow is this from Teoxane. This is an overnight cream that contains AHAs to gentle exfoliate the skin overnight to reveal brighter, fresher, more glowing skin. And this really does everything it claims. I really like this because I found most overnight AHA treatments too harsh for my skin and it has adverse effects but this one is gentle but still effective.
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid | £3.90
To treat breakouts overnight I reach for this. This contains Salicylic Acid which is a great ingredient for spots and this really does help. I like to apply a tiny small amount directly to blemishes and in the morning they are definitely reduced and clear up a lot quicker. Plus for the price this is amazing!
PIXI Overnight Nourishing Sleeping Mask | £18
Last but not least we have this offering from Pixi. This is a nourishing overnight mask that promises to deeply hydrate, nourish, plump and smooth the skin. I'm actually on my second tube of the stuff. The cream itself is quite thick but feels super nourishing on the skin. I like to use it as the last step in my routine after all the other products. This really does everything it claims and the results are noticeable after the first use. My skin looks so much plumper in the morning and so soft! This also helps my dehydration lines. A definite overnight hero!
