It's time to share the makeup I've been reaching for lately. I test loads of products so when I reach for a product a lot it means I really like it. Make sure you check out my full review links for more details. So let's get into it.
Mac Essential Oils Stick Balm Primer | £21 | REVIEW
I love this primer so I've been reaching for it a lot! It's basically an oil in a convenient stick form. It's super hydrating and makes a really nice base for makeup.
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Foundation | £32 | REVIEW
This has quickly become one of my favourite foundations. It has good medium coverage and super blend-able formula. It has a really dewy finish that I love and wears well on me.
ColourPop No Filter Concealer | $6
I was super excited when I heard ColourPop were releasing a concealer. All their products have been amazing so far. But I was disappointed with this. The coverage is amazing, definitely full coverage. And the finish is one of the best I've seen from a concealer. It really does look flawless and like you have filter on. But the wear time of this is rubbish. And it doesn't just crease, I can cope with creasing. But after around 2-3 hours wear this looks cakey, dry and flakey. Which I'm super gutted about, but I love ColourPop and I will keep using it in the hope it will work!
ELF Powder | £7.50
To set everything I've been reaching for this powder. And for a powder the price of this is amazing. It does do a bit of blurring and helps my makeup last longer. It's finely milled and never looks cakey.
Milani Baked Blush | £10 | REVIEW
Berry Amore has made it's way back into rotation. This is a really nice Berry shade that's perfect for Autumn. The formula of Milani blushes is amazing too!
ColourPop Highlighter | $8
I picked up a couple of colourpop pressed powder hihghlighters and I really like the shade Boujee Call. It has a really nice sublt sheen to it. That's not over the top. It's perfect for everyday wear. The shade it's self has a xhampagne toned that leans slightly peach. I really like it.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette | £39.50 | REVIEW
I just can't seem to put this palette down. I love all the warm tones and it's really easy to create a wearable everyday look with this. The formula is incredible to, it's so blend-able and pigmented.
L'oreal Baby Roll Mascara | £7.99
I love this mascara. The plastic wand combs through the lashes really well, giving them a good amount of length and volume. It lasts all day too without flaking or smudging.
Benefit FoolProof Brow Powder* | £20 | REVIEW
For brows this has been my go to. It's a powder that has two shades to create the perfect sculpted brow look. It's really easy to use and long lasting. I've not tried a powder quite like this before.
ELF Lip Oil | £7.50
My lips have been so dry recently I've been avoiding matte lipsticks and reaching for something more hydrating. And this lip oil does the job! It feels super nourishing and the formula is silky smooth. The shade Nude Kiss, which is a lovely nude Pink also gives the lips a natural wash of colour.
Revlon Ultra HD Matte* | £8.99 | REVIEW
This has also been in rotation. I do really like this but this isn't matte. It's a satin at best but because it's not matte I really like this! It's really pigmented and comfortable. The shade Flirtation is a really nice Pink toned nude.
So that's everything I've been reaching for lately.
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
