These posts don't really need an introduction, it's just the Makeup I've been reaching for lately. Remember to check out the review links for full reviews / swatches.
Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer | £15 | REVIEW
No other primer has had a look in since I got this. This primer is amazing. It has brilliant bluring properties but it's not drying at all, despite having a silicone base. It leaves my skin velvety smooth and foundation applies like a dream over the top. I do also think this extends my makeup wear time too!
Fenty Beauty Foundation | £26 | REVIEW
I've been testing this foundation and actually really like it with the right primer. It works brilliantly with the Touch in Sol No Poreblem. It has a matte finish, and a good medium coverage. It wears well too. It's perfect for long days! See my review and how I make this work here.
Bobbi Brown Instant Full Coverage Concealer | £23
To conceal my dark circles I've found myself reaching for this. The coverage is amazing and it does an amazing job at hiding my dark circles. This is very thick though, it reminds me of the It Cosmetics Bye Bye under in consistency. I really like this but it won't be for everyone because it is very thick. I do find this creases too but the coverage is so good I can forgive it.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder | £33 | REVIEW
To set everything in place this has been my go to powder. I've actually hit pan. This finely milled powder leaves my skin looking flawless and really blurs fine lines and imperfections. It never looks powderery or cakey no matter how much I apply. This is pricy for a powder but well worth it.
Inconic Illuminating Drops* | £32.99 | REVIEW
I just can't put these highlighter drops down! I like to apply them to the high points of my face, they give such a dewy but natural highlighted look. They last all day and are so easy to apply.
Too Faced Baby Love Blush* | £32
I'm so glad I invested in this blush, it's become an everyday staple. The shade Baby Love is a subtle Rose, Mauve colour that gives the cheeks a really natural wash of colour. The shade compliments almost any makeup look and it's perfect for everyday wear. The formula is really soft and not powderery at all!
ColourPop I Think I Love You Palette | £16 | REVIEW
I've not really been wearing eyeshadow everyday but when I have it's been this palette. All the shades are natural to warm Browns. The formula is ColourPops best shadow palette yet. They are so creamy, pigmented and easy to work with. It's really easy to create a day time eye look. See my full review with swatches here.
Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara* | £19.50 | REVIEW
Urban Decay recently launched a new mascara and I've been really enjoying it. It has a plastic wand that combs every lash, even tiny ones, adding length and volume. It holds the curl really well and stays put all day! It's really easy to remove as well.
3ina Brow Kit* | £15.95 | REVIEW
I really wasn't expecting to love this brow kit as much as I do! This little compact houses a brow powder and wax. I'm not too fussed by the wax. Not for any reason, I just really use these types of products. But the powder is incredible! It's really soft, but not too soft it blends out. The powder clings to brows giving them a full and thick appearance.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick | £15.50
My lips have been so dry recently, I've found myself reaching for regular lipsticks rather than liquid ones. As much as I love them. I do find them drying. The Comfort Matte line from Urban Decay is one of my favourite 'regular' matte lipstick formulas. It's so creamy, pigmented and not drying at all while still giving a matte finish. Backtalk has been the shade I've been loving the most. It's really nice pinky mauve that suits most makeup looks.
So that's the makeup I've been reaching for recently.
Have your tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
