I am forever testing new beauty products, I'm not complaining, I love it! And I love it even more when I'm instantly wowed by a product. So here's a few that have done just that.
This is just a first impressions kind of thing and will give my final thoughts on the products soon.
Verso Hydration Serum* | £79
I've been so intrigued by Verso. I love the clean White, simple packaging. I finally got my hands on this serum, which is a super hydrating serum which also contains Niacimide which is a powerful ingredient that boasts a range of skincare benefits. Including hydration as well as improving pore size! Now I haven't been using this long enough to see an overall effect on my pores. But in terms of hydration this is brilliant. It has a light weight consistency that my skin drinks instantly, leaving it with immediate hydration. And it feels so soft and smooth! My skin hasn't been as dry as it normally is since I've been using this. I'm really excited to see it's long term benefits.
Smile Teeth Whitening Strips* | £38 (pack of 15)
I'm all for at home teeth whitening! I've tried a few products that claim to brighten and whiten teeth and most have had a subtle effect. But nothing compared to these! The strips are really easy to apply and so comfortable to wear. The instructions say to leave them on for 30 mins and then brush your teeth to remove the excess gel. The first time I used them I left them on for around 10 minutes and the results, in that short space of time were brilliant - I could see a huge improvement. The second time I left them on for the recommended time and my teeth were so much whiter! They also left my teeth feeling super clean. These didn't make my teeth feel sensitive either. I really can't recommend these enough.
Magnitone Blend Up Brush* | £70
Regular readers will know how I'm huge fan of the Magnitone Cleansing Brush so I was super intrigued by this. This is basically an electric foundation brush that vibrates to help blend foundation. At first I thought this was super gimmicky. But I'm pleased to say this is amazing! It really does give a super flawless finish to foundation and blends it into the skin super quick! The brush is really soft. It works with all my favourite foundations. I particularly love how well this works with the Huda Beauty Foundation. It's also worth noting that this is rechargeable. Overall, I'm really impressed with this. It isn't gimmicky at all, infact it's genious!
Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette | £25
I've always wanted to try the Huda Beauty large palette but they are pricy and I've heard mixed reviews so when I saw she was launching these mini ones for £25 I just had to get one! I went for the shade Warm because the shades are right up my street. To be honest this palette is tiny! You do get 9 shadows, but the pans are actually quite large which is good. I have heard the quality of this isn't as good as her larger palettes but I've not tried those. The quality of these is very good though! The mattes are very creamy, pigmented and perform perfectly on the lids! The palette contains a range of warm tones and deep Burgendys that are perfect for creating a warm eye look. All the shades compliment each other well and blend beautifully together and fall out is minimal. I'm so happy with this palette, I now really want to try the large ones!
Thirsti Puck* | £34.99
Anybody that knows me in real life will know I'm an avid Diet Coke drinker. There's nothing I enjoy more than a cold can of Diet Coke. But because this is relatively affordable and it's socially acceptable to drink Diet Coke at any time of day, I drink it all day everyday. I know, it's so bad and I've been making a conscious effort to drink more water thanks to this little device! Like the Magnitone Blendup I was concerned this was going to be gimmicky but it's really not at all! Basically, what this is is a small sensor that you put in a bottle of water, you then sync it with the app. And it measures how much water you are drinking based on your daily target. It's really helped me drink water and it's actually surprisingly fun to see it. You can read more about it here.
Do let me know if there's anything you would like a full review of?
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
