My SOS Skincare Kit

My skin can be so unpredictable sometimes, one day it will be so dry then the next it will be breaking out! So I have a little collection of treatments to sort my skin out regardless of what it's doing or not doing.

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid | £4.90 | REVIEW

When my skin breaks out this is what I reach for. It's one of the best spot treatments I've tried. Salicylic Acid is great for treating spots or acne prone skin because it has the ability to penetrate the skin deeper than other oils. I like to use it  directly on spots as and when I get them. It helps reduce their size and redness over night! And just speeds up the whole healing process. Use this with caution though because it can be super drying.

Pixi Nourishing Sleep Mask | £18 | REVIEW

I reach for this when my skin is feeling really try just needs a little pick me up. It's a super nourishing and hydrating. The cream it's self it quite rich, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the skin. After applying this before bed in the morning the results are really incredible. My skin looks so much more plump, smoother, more radient and so soft. It really sooths any dry areas too. I can't be without this and the cooler months this stuff is life saver.

The Ordinary AHA Peeling Solution | £6.30 | REVIEW

This AHA peeling solution basically treats nearly every skin issue, from dullness to dryness. It works by using chemicals to exfoliate the skin. It does tingle on application, but this is to be expected. I like to leave it on for around 10 minutes and the results are amazing. My skin feels so much smoother and looks so much brighter. The glow it gives my skin is incredible too. This is so affordable too, I actually prefer this to some more expensive acids.

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask | £22 | REVIEW

I like to reach for this when my skin is dry and breaking out or feels a little sensitive.. It contains hydrating ingredients as well as honey which has great anti bacterial properties. I like to smoother a thick layer on and leave it for at least 20 minutes. On removing my skin is soft and definitely has more of a glow to it. If my skins feeling sensitive this is so soothing and really soothes any redness. Overall, I really can't recommend this enough.

There's a few products I reach for when my skins freaking out!

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
