Pricey Eye Makeup That's Worth The Splurge

I did a similar post about affordable eye makeup a while back so I thought I'd do a high end version. High-end makeup can be just as hit and miss as the drugstore so I've put together this little edit.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette | £39.50 | REVIEW

This has to be one of my all time favourite palettes, a bold statement I know. But this really is amazing. I'd been on the hunt for a really warmed toned palette like this for what seemed like forever so soon as it launched I knew I needed it. The matte shades are second to none. They are so buttery, pigmented and really easy to blend. The shimmers are equally as nice. It's really easy to create a day time look or something more bold for an evening look. If you love warm tones. This is definitely worth investing in.

Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics | £39.50 | REVIEW

Another palette from Urban Decay which I think is well worth the money is this beauty. It houses 12 all matte shades, with one shade being more of a satin finish. This is easily the best matte shades I've come across. I think matte shades are where the drugstore really struggle. This palette in particular contains a range of neutral matte shades and a few warm ones. All of which are so soft and so pigmented. It's a great everyday palette. Plus it contains a matte Black, which every palette needs!

Touch In Sol StretchX Stretch Effect Mascara* | £18

I used to be a firm drugstore mascara girl, I'd never struggled to find a mascara that met my needs and didn't have any compliments until I started trying high end mascaras and some just slightly edge the drugstore. This is included. At first glance this mascara didn't excite me, the wand just looks like your average want, although it is a lot skinnier than I'd normally go for. What this does to lashes is definitely something to write home about. It is so lengthening! The small wand also catches every lash. This is a lengthening mascara but I find I can create volume with a few layers. It doesn't clump up either. The mascara stays put on the lashes all day, without flaking or smudging but it's really easy to remove at the end of the day! This is well worth the extra money.

DHC Liquid Liner* | £16

Like mascara I really didn't think high end liners could offer me anything that the drugstore didn't. And boy was I wrong! This DHC one in particular is amazing. It has a super fine tip that makes creating a wing or just lining the lashes so easy. The formula is super Black, I tend to find this is the problem with affordable liners, they just aren't Black enough! Once this has dried it stays super Black and in place all day too! A sound investment.

Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil | £15

After trying many drugstore liner pencils and not finding any that actually stay in my water line I was ready to pay extra for one in the hope it would be long lasting at least! After getting some recommendations I invested in this one from Eye of Horus and I'm so glad I did. This stays put in my waterline like nothing I've tried before. It's really Black and can also be smudged easily for a smokey effect. Overall, I really can't recommend this enough!

So that's the high end makeup I think is worth the splurge.

Have you tried any of these? What's your favourite high-end eye makeup?

Until next times...
