Best Skincare Discoveries of 2017

Happy New Year Guys! I can't believe we're 3 days into January already. I wanted to get this post up a little earlier but I took a little impromptu break. But anyway here's my best skincare discoveries of 2017.

Fresh Soy Cleanser | £30 | REVIEW

This some how managed to escape the photo! I discovered this cleanser at the beginning of the year and I was completely blown away by it! It has a light gel consistency that gently cleanses the skin, removing dirt and makeup with ease. I really feel like this helped improve the overall condition of my skin. I don't get as many breakouts and the texture has really improved! I'm not sure if this is down to the cleanser but I keep coming back to it.

Clarins Blue Orchid Oil | £33 | REVIEW

I discovered this around the same time as the Fresh Soy Cleanser and I just love it. It's a silky smooth oil that absorbs quickly into the skin. This is so hydrating, if you have dry or dehydrated skin I really can't recommend this enough. It plumps out fine lines and just leaves my skin looking a lot better. This doesn't break me out or anything, I actually find this helps any breakouts that I have.

The Ordinary AHA Peeling Solution | £6.30 | REVIEW

This is probably the best Acid Treatment I have come across! This uses a blend of AHA and BHA's to chemically exfoliate the skin. It's bright Red and looks a little a scary on the skin. But this works in as little as 10 minutes. After removing it my skin is so much brighter, smoother and has a radiant glow. This does tingle a little on the skin but this is totally normal. I can't believe it's only £6 too!

Verso Hydration Serum* | £79 | REVIEW

I have dehydrated skin so anything that promises to hydrate I'm drawn to and boy is this serum hydrating! It has a really light weight texture that absorbs almost instantly, giving my skin immediate hydration. This also contains Niacinamide so the long term benefits are pretty amazing too. Niacinamide is a great ingredient as it has powerful anti ageing properties as well as helping to reduce Acne and Rosacea . Since I've been using this my skins overall hydration levels have really improved and my redness has started to fade.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Overnight Cream | £21.95 | REVIEW

This is a very recent discovery but I'm obsessed with it. It's an overnight moisturiser that is really hydrating. And really does leave my skin radiant as the name suggests. It has quite a light consistency for a night cream and doesn't feel heavy or suffocating on the skin. In the morning my skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated. I also find this clears my breakouts super quick, I'm not sure why because the ingredients don't seem overly impressive but this works so I love it. This isn't available in the UK but I have linked a UK stockist on Amazon.

Verso Anti Pollution Mist* | £39 | REVIEW

Verso is a pricy skincare brand but from what I've tried so far their products are well worth investing in. And this face mist is brilliant. It adds a weightless film on the skin to protect it from the environment, something I becoming increasingly concerned about it. It can be used before or after makeup and it works really well both ways but I tend to use it over makeup. I found it really hydrating too. I like to keep it in my bag when my skin needs a quick pick-me-up because it's so refreshing. The mist is also super fine and it doesn't disturb my makeup underneath.

Sukin Sensitive Moisturiser | £7.95 | REVIEW

Sukin is another brand I dabbled in this year, I love their ethos. They're basically a Green skincare that offers effective yet, affordable products. This moisturiser is one of my favourite discoveries. It's a no bells and whistles moisturiser that deeply hydrates and is subtle for sensitive skin. I tend to lean towards this no fuss moisturiser because I find most break me out. But this doesn't and the price is perfect.

So there's my best skincare discoveries of 2017.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
