Who doesn't want naturally, healthy glowing skin? With winter and over indulging through the christmas period my skin was definitely lacking in glow. So here are my picks for getting your skin glowing again.
Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser | £18
I feel like this is one of the unsung hero's of Pixi's skincare line! This cleanser contains AHA which gently exfoliates the skin to reveal brighter, more glowing skin. It also contains Aloe and Hyluranic acid to nourish and hydrate the skin. It really does help boost the skins glow and radiance, while deeply cleansing away impurities. Because this does contain AHA I wouldn't use it to remove makeup and be careful around the delicate eye area but as a second cleanse this is amazing. My skin looked significantly more brighter after one use!
Alumiers Bright and Clear Solutions* | REVEIW
This toner works in the same way as the Pixi Glow Tonic but I think I like this toner a little bit more. It uses Lactic acid to lift away dead cells which works so well on my skin. I find if I use Glycolic acid too much my skin gets angry but Lactic acid does exactly the same job but without my skin having a freakout. This leaves my skin looking a whole lot brighter and smoother.
Verso Night Cream* | £90 | REVIEW
This intense moisturiser contains Retinal which is probably the ultimate ingredient in terms of brightening, smoothing and just making the skin look better! The cream itself is light and fast absorbing but it's deeply nourishing and really has an amazing effect on my skin. Since I've been using this my skin has looked so much better. It's helped clear up some texture issues and my skin looks so much healthy and glowing.
Glam Glow ThirstyMud Moisture Mask* | £42
Intense hydrating is such an important step in giving the skin a good glow. This offering from Glam Glow is described as a mask but I like to use it as a moisturiser. First of all the scent is incredible, it smells of holidays and everything nice. The cream itself is so hydrating, it plumps out my dehydration lines and leaves it so soft. This works well in the evening and morning and makeup applies well over the top. As a mask this does work well at giving skin a quick hit of moisture too but I just prefer it at as moisturiser.
The Ordinary AHA Peeling Solution | £6.90 | REVIEW
In terms of a glow giving treatment this is the best mask ever! It's very liquid and tingles on first application but this is completely normal. I like to leave it on for 10 minutes and after my skin is so smooth and definitely has a good glow! With continued use this has helped reduce hyper pigmentation issues and redness. I can't get over how cheap this is either!
There are my glowing skin picks. Little disclaimer I wouldn't use all these AHA's together I think that would irritate the skin.
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
