Makeup Lately

I feel like in January I went a bit crazy buying makeup and I've been slowing testing everything. Some products have quickly made their way into my everyday makeup routine. So here they are.

Touch In Sol Honey Moon Primer* | £19.50

For primer I've found myself reaching for this Touch In Sol offering a lot. It combines skincare and primer benefits in one. It's super hydrating so makes it perfect for dry / dehydrated skin. It smoothes over any dry patches leaving a super smooth base for makeup. It keeps my skin hydrated all day too.

Makeup Forever Ultra HD Stick Foundation | £30 | REVIEW

I put off buying this for so long despite all the fave reviews. But I finally got round to testing it and I'm in love. This gives a truly flawless finish, yet it looks so natural on the skin. The formula is really creamy and so easy to blend into the skin. It has a medium to full coverage. The finish is so beautiful, it gives me a lit from within glow but this isn't overly dewy. My only gripe with this is how quickly it breaks down, come lunch time this has already gone patchy on me. Thankfully the stick makes it super easy to reapply.

Makeup Revolution Define and Conceal Concealer | £4 | REVIEW

For concealer this has been my go to! As £4 concealers go this is one of the best I've tried. It has amazing full coverage that works well under the eyes and on blemishes. It has a natural matte finish and the staying power is incredible. Plus there is 19 shades in the collection, which is amazing for a brand like Makeup Revolution.

HourGlass Ambient Light Powders | £59 | REVIEW

I quite often put these down and use different powders and whenever I go back to them I'm completely wowed by the finish they give. They're illuminating powders to give the skin a soft focus finish, while setting makeup perfectly. I tend to only use the shade Dim Light to set my whole face, it's a good match for me. If you have dry skin I really can't recommend these powders enough. They never look cakey or powdery on the skin - they're just amazing.

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops | £34

I'm still very much into the liquid glow but I've swapped my greatly loved Iconic Illuminator Drops for these ones for Cover Fx and I've been really enjoying them. I have the shade Sunlight which is a lovely Champagne, Gold colour that would suit most skin tones. They give a really dewy look to the cheek bones.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush | £25

I've basically been using this blush exclusively. The shade Exposed is the perfect Mauve nude colour. It goes with any makeup look and the formula is buttery soft and super blend-able. It lasts all day on the cheeks to.

Huda Dessert Dusk Palette | £56

I haven't actually been wearing eyeshadow that much but when I have it's been this palette. The formula of these shadows are second to none, they particularly blend themselves! Almost all of the shades in the palette are warm tones, with a few natural shades, There's a good mix of mattes and shimmers, you can create almost any eye look.

Benefit Gimme Brow | £20

I've finally branched out and tried a different brow product and I'm obsessed with this Benefit Brow Gel. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it. I'm not really sure how this does it but it really does add volume to brows and holds them in place without feeling crispy or stuck down. I'm amazed. I will definitely be repurchasing the full size.

Touch In Sol Liner* | £9.50 | REVIEW

One step I can not miss is winged liner and to create the razor sharp wing this Touch In Sol liner is perfect. The tip is super fine and so easy to work with. The formula of the liner itself is super Black and lasts all day on the lids too. It's just perfect.

Feral Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick* | £14.95 | REVIEW

I actually can't get enough of this liquid lipstick in the shade Skin Tight. It's the perfect everyday nude shade that suits my skin tone so well. The formula is super matte and long lasting without being drying at all.

ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip | $6

Another lip product that I've been reaching for a lot is this Ultra Gloss Lip in the shade Moon Child. It's another creamy nude colour that is perfect for everyday wear. The formula isn't sticky or clumpy at all.

That's all the makeup I've been reaching for recently.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
