The Best Affordable Glow Giving Makeup

There's nothing I love more than Dewy, glowing, healthy looking skin. And I don't think you need to pay a fortune to achieve it. So today I have the best affordable glow giving makeup.

ELF Glow Booster Drops Sunkissed* | £12.50

These drops are a relatively new addition to my collection but one that I've been loving none the less. They're a kind of serum, primer hybrid that gives skin hydration and a luminous glow. They have the consistency of an oil but they're not oily at all on the skin. They just leave it super soft and smooth. Makeup glides over the top and looks flawless. ELF say that over time these will give you a sunkissed glow but I think these are very subtle, I've not noticed my skin looking any more tanned. But that aside I love these and if you're after a great glow giving primer these are great.

LA Girl Pro HD Foundation | £11

For an affordable dewy foundation I'm yet to find better than this! It's just amazing. It gives the skin such a healthy glow and has a pretty decent medium, build-able coverage. Which is so hard to find in a dewy foundation. The runny consistency makes this so easy to blend and it sits beautifully on my dehydrated skin. It doesn't cling to any dry areas, nor does it dry my skin out. It just leaves my skin looking flawless and fresh. I really can't recommend this enough.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter Drops | £6

I'm all about liquid highlighters at the moment. They just give the skin the most amazing dewy sheen. This offering from Makeup Revolution are the best affordable ones I've tried so far. They are very similar to the Cover FX ones, that I love. I have the shade  Liquid Champagne, which is a lovely universal Golden Champagne colour. When applied as a highlighter on top of makeup, they don't move makeup or cause it to separate. They last all day too. They can also be used as a primer to give skin a healthy glow or mixed with foundation to create a dewy finish. No matter how I use them they work brilliantly. If you've wanted to try the Cover FX ones but didn't want to part with the cash definitely look into these.

Milani Highlighter | £13

I think affordable highlighters are a tricky category, I must admit I do prefer high-end ones as a whole but this one from Milani easily rivals some of my more expensive ones. The formula is so finely milled and it doesn't contain any glitter. It just gives the cheek bones a nice sheen. These aren't too over the top, they are very subtle but catch the light perfectly. I have the shade Day Glow which is a lovely Champagne colour that would suit most skin tones. They also have quite a few shades so I'm sure there is something for everyone.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter | $6

For a truly stunning glow that won't break the bank I can't recommend the Super Shock formula from ColourPop enough. These have like a dry mousse consistency, I don't own anything like it. They apply beautifully, (I like to use my Real Techniques stippling brush) and look stunning on. My favourite shade is Flexitarian which is a cool, icy White colour. It really makes the cheek bones pop. This shade won't be for everyone but they have a range of shades to choose from.

Milani Make It Dew Setting Spray | £13

To really give the skin a super dewy finish and lock everything in place my favourite affordable setting spray is the Make It Dew from Milani. This does somehow, make everything look a little more glowing. Whilst helping my makeup last longer. The mist is fine which I love. I also really like to use this to refresh my makeup throughout the day too.

There is some of my affordable glow giving makeup.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
