ABH X Amrezy Highlighter - Worth the Hype?

I actually had no idea who Amrezy (AKA Amra) was until I saw this on Anastasia Beverly Hill's Instagram. When I did I just knew I had to have it. As regular readers will know I'm bit of a highlighter junkie so I thought I'd let you guys know if this is worth the hype.

Ordering and Delivery...

This highlighter is pretty easy to order if you're in the UK, it's available from Cult Beauty, Beauty Bay and the Anastasia Beverly Hills website. I ordered mine from Cult Beauty. Their shipping is very reasonable (I think it's actually free on Anastasia Beverly Hills products at the moment), fast and I've had no issues with their customer service.

Anastasia Beverly Hills is a high end brand so I was expecting this to be around the £30 mark - it's £29. Which tends to be the price point for highlighters from a high-end brand. I don't mind paying this much if the highlighter delivers.

The Packaging...

I really like the packaging. It's Black and Gold. I love that it's not round like most highlighters. It also has a mirror. There's nothing not to like about it.

The Product...

The highlighter itself is stunning! It has a beautiful Golden Champagne tone. The balance between champagne and gold is perfect - it's not too Gold nor too Pink. I actually think this would suit most skin tones. The formula is incredible. To swatch this doesn't feel like a powder at all, it doesn't have the same 'kick up' that you get from a powder. The formula actually reminds me a lot of the Makeup Forever Pro Fusion Highlighter which is described as a gel powder. Which is how I would describe this. But it isn't wet, like the name gel would suggest. The formula melts into the skin and blends seamlessly, leaving the cheek bones with the most gorgeous sheen. The Golden Champagne goodness reflects the light so beautifully. It doesn't have any glitter and it certainly isn't chunky. It just looks beautiful! I wouldn't say this is a blinding highlighter either but it's not subtle. It's the perfect in between kind of highlighter. Although if you did want a blinding highlight you apply your setting spray first, then apply this over the top for a little more ooomph to your glow! I found this wears really well too. It doesn't fade or melt off the face.

Is it worth the hype?

I think it's pretty safe to say I love this highlighter! It just looks beautiful on and goes with any makeup. I've been wearing it almost everyday since I got it. So yes this is 100% worth the hype!

You can but the Amerzy highlighter from Cult Beauty, Beauty Bay and the Anastasia Beverly Hills website. I believe this is a limited edition so get it while you can!

Do have this highlighter? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
