I've tested some amazing products in the past week or so. Some are new launches, some are products that I've only just got round to trying. Without further ado.
NYX Brow Micro Brow Pencil | £9
I'm on a mission to find the best brow products and this NYX pencil has really good reviews. Some people say it's a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Micro Brow Pencil. I've not tried that one so I don't know. But I'm completely obsessed with this! The pencil is so easy to work with, it fills in the brows so easily and it isn't too waxy or too stiff. It also has a super fine point which makes drawing fine hairs super easy. It also comes with a spoolie which is super handy. I have the shade Brown which is the perfect match for my hair colour. It's a Brown shade that's not too cool or too warm. Overall, I'm impressed by this. It's actually one of the best brow pencils I've ever used and it's very affordable.
Glam Glow Face Youth Mud Tinglexfoliate Mask* | £42
Glam Glow just make the best face masks, I'm rarely disappointed with them. And this mask is no exception. It's an exfoliating mask that tingles on application, this is completely normal though. You can really feel this mask working. The direction say to leave it on for 10 minutes. In this time the masks sets. On removing the results are incredible! My skin instantly looks brighter and more glowing. It also feels so smooth! My pores feel deeply cleaned to. This mask is definitely one to check out!
La Girl Pro HD Matte Foundation* | £10
It's no secret how much I love the original LA Pro HD Version. So I was super excited to hear they were launching a matte version! This promises to be a long wearing, mattifying foundation. This definitely has a matte finish, but it's not flat or dry looking. I have dry skin so I do like to use a good hydrating primer with this. With a good primer this doesn't cling to any dry patches, or exaggerate any problems areas. The consistency of this is really runny and so easy to blend and is very similar to the original HD Foundation. The coverage is medium to full and pretty much covers all my problem areas. I've been really enjoying this foundation. It's a great affordable option to check out.
La Girl Blending Sponge* | $12 (pack of 2)
I can't actually find anywhere in the UK to link these, I think they must be out of stock on Beauty Bay, but I'll let you know when they're available. Anyway, Alongside the foundation LA Girl launched a bunch of new tools and brushes. To be honest I'm always a little apprehensive of affordable sponges, the only one I've come across that is any good is the Real Techniques ones. But I'm pleased to report these ones are amazing! I think I may even like them more than the RT ones. They expand really well when wet and they are super soft! They make light work of blending out foundation. Leaving it with a flawless, seamless finish. They work perfectly with the LA Pro Matte and Pro Illuminating foundation.
Makeup Revolution Pro Full Cover Concealer | £4
Makeup Revolution recently launched their Pro line. Everything looked so pretty and I've been really impressed with their new launches I had to pick up a few bits. Including this concealer. It claims to give full coverage and this really does! It covers everything! The formula of this is very similar to the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye (which I love). The consistency is kind of thick but it blends out really well and looks natural on the skin. I love this for concealing my dark circles. I do find this creases slightly on me but I'm yet to find a concealer that doesn't. This also comes in a range of shades and it's so cheap!
Caudalie Cleansing Oil* | £18
I'm so into cleansing oils at the moment so I was super excited to try this. And I'm in love. This oil is formulated with 100% natural ingredients that work wonders on the skin. It melts away makeup with ease and rinses away without leaving the skin oily or a weird film over it. It leaves my skin so soft. I know this will become a staple in my routine.
Amo Ferragamo* | £44.50
This has been my go to scent recently. It smells amazing! I'm rubbish at describing scents but the description tells me this has top notes of Blackcurrant and Rosemary and base notes of Vanilla. It actually reminds me a lot of Flower Bomb which is one of my favourites scents, so if you like that you will love this. The scent lasts all day on me and doesn't give me a headache like most fragrances do! I'm really impressed with this. The bottle is also really pretty and would look lovely on any dresser.
There's a few products that wowed me this week.
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts? Until next time...
