A few Spring Beauty Essentials

It's been a while since I've done a classic seasonal beauty edit so I thought I'd bring it back! Even though in the UK spring doesn't look like it's coming anytime soon. Here are a few beauty products I'm taking into spring.

Makeup

For me it doesn't really matter what season it is, i just wear what makeup I like. But as the weather turns warmer I tend to put Berry lipsticks away (which I'm not to happy about) and go for something lighter. But here are my makeup picks:

Anastasia Beverley Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette  | £42 | review

This palette just has all the classic shades in it. There's a good mix of warm, neutral and Pink shades. With a variety of finishes. It's perfect for everyday wear and there's even a few bold shades for a more evening time look. The formula of the shadows is amazing. They all super pigmented and so easy to blend. Make sure you check out my full review here.

Benefit Gold Rush Blush* | £25.50 | REVIEW

This is like spring / summer in blush form. The Peachy shade, with Gold shimmers is just perfect for for the warmer months. The formula is so nice, it's pigmented but not too pigmented it's easy to go overboard. The finish looks beautiful on the skin too, not powderery at all.

Becca Liquid Glow Crystal Gloss | £18 | REVIEW

I am a gloss girl at heart and spring is the perfect time to get use out of my collection. But in particular this Becca gloss in the shade Opal X Jade, which is a really pretty sheer Pink colour.  It can be worn alone or as a lip topper. Alone it gives the lips a really juicy, plump look. Over lipsticks it looks incredible! The formula is not sticky or gloopy either.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter | £29 | REVIEW

I've been using highlighter all year round. But my spring highlighter of choice will be these beauties! The shade is just stunning. It's a Gold colour but it's not too Gold, I think most skin tones would be able to pull this off. The formula is just amazing. It's not powdery, it almost has a gel powder formula that meshes with skin leaving a beautiful sheen. I'm in love.

Skincare

Skincare as the seasons change is a tricky one for me, I don't tend to go for lighter moisturisers until summer. My skin is super dehydrated so it needs a lot of moisture. But I have a few picks perfect for this season:

Lixirskin Vitamin C Paste* | £32

This is a treatment face wash, treatment hybrid. It contains Vitamin C in its most potent form to neutralise Sebum and protect the skins free radicals. It's a light paste that you massage into the skin for a few minutes before rinsing. I love how easy this is to use. I've been using it for a few weeks and it has really helped brighten and smooth my skin.

Caudalie Vine Active Overnight Detox Oil* | £30

I've not been using this long but I already know this will be a spring favourite. The super light weight oil, absorbs instantly into the skin, giving it instant hydration and leaving it so soft. It also has long term detoxifying benefits. This is perfect for spring because it's not heavy and doesn't leave the skin feeling suffocated.

Super Facialist Pure Skin Overnight Recovery Skin* | £15.99 (currently on offer for £10.33 here)

This moisturiser will be another favourite in spring because it's super hydrating but not heavy. Super facialist pure skin range is aimed at stressed skin, offering a gentle yet effective treatment! This leaves my skin feeling so plumped and smooth.

I'm sure there will be many more products that will become spring essentials as the weeks go.

Have you tried any of these? What are your spring beauty essentials?

Until next time...
