This post is sponsored by Super Facialist, however all opinions are my own.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, affordable skincare can be so hit-or-miss. Finding brands that you can trust and that offer real results can be tricky. Plus, my skin changes from day-to-day and month-to-month, so finding a tailored routine within one brand can be really tricky.
Super Facialist is a brand I've trusted for many years, I've spoken about them here and here. And they've just made it easier to find the right products for skin concerns, with their new skin diagnostic tool. I know my skin pretty well (what it responds to etc) and the result of the tool was pretty spot on regarding which products I needed.
I have dehydrated skin that's dull; so, I've been mixing a few products from the Rose line and Vitamin C line to tackle both these issues. Without further ado here are my thoughts.
Vitamin C Brighten Skin Renew Oil* | £10.99
This was actually the first cleansing oil I ever used a few years ago, I loved it then and I still love it today! It contains Vitamin C to help brighten and Grapeseed oil to nourish. I love this for removing makeup; the oil itself is silky smooth and melts away makeup with ease.
Waterproof mascara is no match for this either. When mixed with water, it emulsifies into a milky consistency and rinses away really easily, taking all makeup with it! The Vitamin C Cleansing Oil doesn't leave behind an oily residue or film on the skin either.
Rose Miracle Makeover Oil* | £14.99
Another oil I've been testing is this pre-cleanse treatment oil; it's enriched with Rose extract which is super hydrating.
This oil is a little thicker than the Vitamin C one but it's a real pleasure to use. I like to use once or twice a week, after removing my makeup but before my second cleanse as it leaves my skin feeling so soft. It's a lovely treat for the skin.
This Vitamin C Micro Polish makes the perfect second cleanser after the oil.
It has gentle scrubby particles that lift away dead skin and impurities in the skin. This smells amazing… and leaves my skin so smooth! I've been using this in combination with the Vitamin C Serum and I really think the combination of the two have helped brighten my skin.
Vitamin C Brighten Glow Boost Serum* | £16.99
I'm always after a good glow so I was super excited to try this. I'm pleased to report that this is brilliant. It's very lightweight and absorbs instantly into the skin, without feeling tacky or sticky. I find this instantly gives my skin a subtle glow. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid for hydration.
I've been using this every morning and it works really well alongside the Rose Day Cream too.
To give my skin that much needed hydration while I sleep I've been really enjoying this night cream. It's packed full of hydrating ingredients to soothe and restore the skin.
This is quite a rich cream but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin or leave it feeling suffocated; it's so hydrating, it's like a drink of water for my face. I've been smothering myself in this stuff and in the morning my skin looks plumped and feels soothed. This also improves elasticity - so it’s perfect for those worrying about ageing.
Rose Hydrate Radiance Day Cream* | £14.99
In the mornings I've been using this radiance cream from the Rose line. This definitely gives my skin instant radiance, especially when used with the Vitamin C Serum… my skin looks a lot healthier, which is a win!
Not only does this instantly make my skin look better, it's also really hydrating and includes SPF 15 and UV filters, so it's a brilliant multi-tasker. It also works really well under makeup and keeps my skin hydrated and happy all day! I can't believe how good it is.
Overall, I'm really happy with the products I've been using and they've become everyday staples in my routine. Super Facialist is definitely a brand to check out. They have a variety of products to meet every skincare concern from dry, dull to oily and ageing skin.
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?
Until next time...
