For me building my own eyeshadow palette is game changing. I also find with ready made palettes there are also one or two shades that don't get used. I recently spoke about phase zero here. This month they have extended their makeup collection to eyeshadows as well. I loved the liquid lipsticks so much, so I was super excited to try the eyeshadows. You can even buy an empty palette to store them in.
If you didn't know about Phase Zero it's sold on Love Me Beauty here. It's a monthly subscription service, which costs £5 and allows you to buy makeup at cost price. Don't worry though this isn't anything like Beauty Pie, there's no cap on how much you can spend and no hidden charges when you get to check out. You simple buy the makeup you want and be happy with the savings you've made!
Anyway, onto the eyeshadows! I have 12 eyeshadows and the palette to house them. The shades are:
Coffee Cup - This is a rich warm Brown colour. With a subtle shimmer finish. It looks beautiful all over the lid or in the outer v. The formula is so soft and pigmented. It doesn't feel powdery at all to touch.
Snowball - is a stunning shade. It looks White in the pan but it translates to a really pretty Gold. This does feel a little loose in the pan to swatch but it translates beautifully to the lids. It really has amazing pigment pay off. I like to use this as a killer inner corner highlight but this also works well all over the lid.
Pearl Shimmer - This is another stunning shade. It's a really pretty Pink Champagne, shimmer colour. It has a gorgeous wet look to it. I love this as an inner corner and brow bone highlight. I've been using this on my cheek bones too because it's such a pretty shade! The formula is so soft and pigmented to.
Mush-a-Boom - I actually don't have a single eye shadow like this is in my collection, so this is a very welcomed addition. The shade itself is a pretty cool Grey, with a Purple undertone with a sheen to it. It looks really nice all over the lid and blends well with other shades with a smokey look.
Velvet - This shade is so pretty! It's a warm, Purple colour with a Red undertone and satin finish. It really gives any eye look the wow factor when worn all over the lid.
Nude Newbie - Is another beautiful shade. It's similar to Pear Shimmer but that one is more Peachy in tone, this one is more Pink. It makes a beautiful highlight colour or eyeshadow base. The formula is so soft to.
Party Dress - This is gorgeous rich Black colour, with a Silver glitter in it. It's really pigmented and perfect for smoking out an eye look.
Banana Beige - Is a Yellow Gold colour with a shimmer finish. I love this all over the lid or as a highlight colour. It's a really pretty shade.
Cocoa - This is one of my favourite shades! It's a beautiful warm toned, medium Brown with a shimmer finish. I love this all over the lid! I've been wearing this alone, all over the lid and blended into the crease. For the perfect easy, but put together look.
Warm Taupe - As the name suggests this is a warm Taupe colour, with a Golden sheen.
Cashmere - This is another one of my favourite shades. Its a stunning Rosey, Bronze colour. This shade is so soft and pigmented. I love it all over the lid.
Bright Light - for a truly blinding inner corner highlight. Look no further than this gorgeous shade! It is a shimmery White colour. What I love about this shade is how it's so shimmery but without any glitter!
Each of these shadows cost just £2.90 (alongside the monthly subscription) yes they are that cheap! And given how well they perform, the formula and the pigmentation, these are an absolute steal!
The palette that is available to buy separately (£4.80) is really good too. It's sturdy and houses a mirror. It's perfect for travelling.
Overall, I'm really happy with these shadows. And the liquid lipsticks are amazing too (see this post for more details on those.
I can't wait to see what products they add to the line up next.
You can check out Phase Zero makeup* here.
You can also get £5 off your first order with the code: LEANNEP5
Have tried Phase Zero makeup? What are your thoughts?
