A little Me Time With RUSH

I've recently had some hair disasters with my usually salon, but that's a story for another day. So I was looking for a new hairdresser when an email from RUSH dropped in my inbox, perfect timing! I thought I'd share my experience with you guys.

I went to the Rush Salon in Shepherds Bush. RUSH has salons all over the country though. You can find your nearest one here. On arriving the staff where really friendly and welcoming. They took my coat and asked if I would like a drink.

The salon itself was really clean and modern looking. I had a cut and blow dry. My hair is super dry and damaged from my never ending quest to be super blonde so I opted to have a couple of inches off. Which is actually a pretty big deal for me because I hate having my hair cut, I want it as long as possible!

I also had a deep conditioning treatment. Which was so relaxing. It was lovely to just sit and relax without having to worry about the usual stresses of life. The treatment actually really worked too, my hair felt so soft after. The hairdresser that actually cut my hair was so lovely. She was chatty and made me feel really comfortable. I wanted my hair cut to be really blunt so the split ends didn't look as obvious, I find this makes my hair look thicker and healthier. I do have quite thick hair anyway but the ends where looking super straggly. She cut my hair in record time! I've never had a hairdresser cut my hair so quick, but she wasn't rushing. I just think she was really good at her job. And it was exactly how I wanted it! Here's a before photo:

After cutting it was time for a blow dry. I went for loose bouncy, soft curls. And I love the finished look. It actually lasted a good 2 days after to. Here's how it looked after:

Overall, I really can't recommend the RUSH Shepherds Bush salon enough. The experience was lovely and more importantly I loved my hair after! And they did exactly what I wanted! You can find about more about RUSH and what they offer here.

Have you been to a RUSH salon before? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
