High-end Beauty Discoveries

I didn't think I had that many high-end discoveries to share with you guys, until I sat down to write this post! It appears I actually have quite a bit. So here's the high-end beauty products I've discovered in the past month or so.

Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Palette | £25

Huda Beauty recently added two new palettes to her Obsessions line, one of them being this gorgeous Coral hued palette. Huda eyeshadows have to be one of my favourite eyeshadow formulas ever. I know that's a bold statement but I just find them so easy to work! it doesn't matter what brush I'm using her shadows just seem to blend so easily, whilst still having really good colour pay off. This palette is no exception! It contains 7 matte shades and 2 shimmers. The shimmers are super pigmented and so soft to touch. The mattes are so easy to blend and have good pigmentation, along with incredible staying power. Granted this palette does look a little bold and scary but it can create some really pretty, everyday looks. As well as something a bit more statement! Overall, I love this palette! If you can't afford Huda's larger palettes, I really recommend checking these Obsession ones out.

Hourglass Stick Foundation | £42

I'm really into stick foundations at the moment, they're just so easy to use! This one in particular from Hourglass has so many rave reviews so I needed it. But to be honest I'm a little on the fence with it. I was expecting it to have more coverage. It does have medium coverage that can be built up but I'd just rather it was full coverage. It has a natural satin finish which I like. I don't really know what it is about this foundation, I can't put my finger on why I don't love it. I'll keep you guys updated on this.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder | £29

Like the Hourglass foundation this powder is greatly loved and has gained a bit of cult status! I thought it was about time I saw what all the hype was about. And I do really like this powder. But only with certain foundations. I have dehydrated skin so I tend to find powders too drying, this is super drying when paired with matte foundation. But with a hydrating dewy foundation it sets my makeup down perfectly. And helps to keep it in place all day. It doesn't really alter the finish of the foundation which I love. It works really well on concealer under my eyes and prevents creasing. Overall, I do really like this.

Caudalie Gylocolic Peel Face Mask* | £22

This is a gentle but super effective resurfacing mask. It uses Gylocic acid to gently exfoliate the skin. As well as hydrating ingredients to sooth and restore the skin. It has a thick, creamy consistency, that I like to leave on for around 20 minutes. This doesn't irritate my skin at all, it doesn't even tingle like most masks of this type. But on removing it my skin is so much softer, feels smoother and looks all round brighter. It's a really great little mask.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum* | £46

I'm all about radiance and brighter skin so I was super intrigued to try this. It claims to reduce and prevent dark spots after just 4 weeks of use. It contains Viniferine which is said to be 62 times more effective than Vitamin C at brightening the skin. And I have seen some pretty amazing results from Vitamin C recently so this sounds super promising. I've been using this for around 4 weeks now and I'm pleased to confirm this does have amazing brightening effects on the skin. I don't really have any dark spots but my skin can sometimes look really dull and Grey. But since I've been using this dullness hasn't really been an issue! The serum itself is really light weight and fast absorbing. It works really well as part of evening and morning skincare routines. I can't get enough of the stuff!

Laura Geller Baked Lipsticks* | £16

Another discovery I've made recently are these new lipsticks from Laura Geller. The formula is so nice. They have a cream finish, which makes them so comfortable and easy to apply. The formula is really pigmented and actually wears really well for a lipstick with this finish. I have Two shades that I've been loving. Brooklin Bridge, which is a warm Terracotta Brown and Chocolate Raspberry which is a berry toned Brown colour. I love this shade because it's kind of bold but not so bold it's out of the comfort zone. These have a really unique shaped bullet to, it's really curved to hug the lips perfectly, saturating them in colour.

Laura Geller Nude Kisses Lip Gloss* | £16

I'm a huge fan of lip gloss's so this Laura Geller gloss is a welcomed edition to my collection. This line in particular is formulated with Shea butter for added hydration to the lips. The gloss itself is buttery on the lips, it's not sticky, heavy or gloopy on the lips. My favourite shade is Skinny Dipped which is the perfect Brown nude colour. It works well on its own or over the top of lipsticks. It is quite pigmented for a gloss but it's not opaque but it does give the lips a wash of colour.

Tarte Bronzer | £25

I featured this in my Instagram Made Me Do It Post. But I wanted to give it another mention here because I'm obsessed with it! This bronzer is so buttery and applies so well to the skin. It is matte but it doesn't look matte of powdery. The shade is quite warm toned but it works well for contouring or just warming up the face! It lasts all day too. This does claim to be waterproof, I've not tested this but it works well for holidays and beach trips.

Ark Skin Condition Body Serum* | £28

Next I have this body serum from Ark. I've never tried a body serum so I was super intrigued by this. But I actually find this has more of an oily consistency than a serum. But I've been really enjoying this. It's formulated with Sweet Almond oil and Omega 3 to deeply nourish and hydrate the skin. This is super hydrating. I've been suffering with really dry, itchy legs and this really helped. It leaves my skin feeling so soft to. It's also really fast absorbing and doesn't feel sticky or heavy on the skin. It's a great little body product.

Nyasa London Luminosity Serum* | £80

I've been testing this serum over the past month or so too, it's quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. It contains a whole range of natural skin loving ingredients, that gives the skin a natural radiance to it. One of its main ingredients is AHA Fruit acids which gently lift away dead cells and promote cell turn over. And it does do this in a really gentle way. I've been using this in the evening and in the morning my skin looks so good, it looks radiant and fresh looking. The serum itself has a kind of gel like consistency that melts into the skin instantly. I also found this really hydrating.

Dr Roebucks Byron 2in1 Mask + Scrub* | $30

Last but not least I have this mask and scrub from Dr Roebucks. Which I've been loving. It's a deep cleansing mask that lifts away dead cells and removes impurities. This isn't like your regular deep cleansing masks that dry down, it's actually quite light on the skin but still does an excellent job out unclogging pores. Whenever I use this my skin feels so much cleaner but not stripped. This does also contain scrubby particles but I don't find these harsh or abrasive on the skin. They remove the dead skin cells really well, leaving my skin looking radiant and fresh looking. I love the new packaging too. It's become a staple in my skincare routine.

So that's all the high-end discoveries I've made in the past month.

Have you tired any of these? What are your thoughts?
