My Favourite Brightening Skincare Products

Without a little help my skin is so Grey and dull looking, which isn't a great look. And with summer in sight, lighter bases are in so I want my skin to be looking naturally bright and radiant. Luckily I have a few products that really stop my skin being Grey and keep it bright and fresh looking.

The Ordinary L-Asorbic Acid | £4.90

I've been raving about this loads recently because this really is amazing at brightening the skin. It's 100% l-ascorbic acid which is Vitamin C. Vitamin C is great for brightening the skin. This is a powder that needs to be mixed with something, I've been mixing it with my Klairs Soft Preparation toner. This stuff really brightens skin. After one use I woke up and my skin looked so much better! It's really helped give me an even skin tone too. For the price this stuff is brilliant, I would happily pay 3-4 times the price for this.

The Ordinary AHA Peeling Solution | £6.30

Another one of my favourite brightening products comes in the form of this bright Red treatment. This is a liquid that applies like a mask, leave it on for 10minutes and my skin is transformed. This uses AHA which gently lift away the dead cells that cause the skin to look Grey and dull. And this really does brighten  my skin.  This also leaves my skin so soft and smooth! With continued use this can help pigmentation and fines. Again, this is a bargain product everybody needs!

ARK Radiance Serum* | £45

This is a powerful serum that also contains Vitamin C to brighten the skin. The oil itself is really light weight, I like to use this as part of my morning skincare routine. I've been using it for a few months and it has really helped keep my skin fresh and bright. It's not the quickest brightening product here but it's perfect for those with sensitive skin. It's actually really hydrating to but without making my skin oily throughout the day.

Alpha H Liquid Rose Gold* | £37

This is one of the most intense brightening treatments I've tried! This treatment comes in the form of a toner that can be used in conjunction with other skincare products or used alone for a more intense treatment. It works really well both ways. But on it's own, I'm always blown away by how well this works. My skin looks and feels so much better after using this. It's so much softer, feels smoother, looks brighter and has a glow to it.  This uses AHAs to brighten the skin but it also contains Rose and other hydrating ingredients. I wouldn't say this is overly hydrating though, but it's not drying and in terms of brightening it's fab.

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Emeyme Mask | £55

Another face mask favourite of mine is this Enzyme mask. Now this is an intense Brightening mask. It really tingles when I applied it to the skin. It uses AHA as well as scrubby particles to lift away dull, dead skin. The directions recommend to leave this on for 3-7 minutes which I wouldn't recommend leaving this on for much longer. But once this is removed all my dull dead skin is gone! And brighter, younger looking skin is revealed!

Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite brightening products?

Until next time...
