8 Beauty Products To Add To Your Makeup Bag This Summer

Now the weather is getting warmer and the UK has had more than 2 days worth of warmer weather I think it's the perfect time to update your makeup bag. There have been so many new launches this season to. I have a little round up of some of my favourites.

Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions | £25

I've said it before but Huda's eyeshadow formula is one of my favourite formulas ever. She recently launched this Coral palette which is full of stunning warm shades. It just screams summer! It has a good mix of mattes and shimmers in it to. The mattes are so pigmented and blend so easily. And the shimmers are so pigmented and really pack a punch when they're on the lids. The shades do look a little scary and out there in the pan but it's so easy to create a wearable everyday look or something bold.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation | £32

In the warmer months I tend to switch out my base for something lighter and slightly less full coverage. So this foundation is just perfect. It has a pretty decent medium coverage, it covers most flaws but it doesn't mask my natural skin. It has a lovely glowy finish that makes my Grey skin look healthy and radiant. It wears really well on me to. It's a really good 'your skin but better' kind of foundation.

Autograph Glow Boosting Serum* | £12.50

To give my skin that sun-kissed tan look I've been obsessed with this recently. This is a serum that you add to you're regular moisture to give the skin a tanned effect. It's essentially a gradual tan. But what I like about this one is it develops really naturally and doesn't look patchy or fake. I've tried a few recently and this is by far the best. It also gives my skin an even tone so I don't need as much foundation either. In terms of skincare benefit this is really hydrating.

Benefit Gold Rush Blush* | £25.50

I love mixing up makeup with blush. It's the perfect way to completely transform a look. For summer blush this offering from Benefit couldn't be more perfect. It is really pretty Peach colour that has a kind of Goldness to it. But not in a glittery way. It's difficult to describe but the shade is really pretty. The formula is blend-able and has just the right amount of pigmentation.

Autograph Sheer Radiance Fragrance* | £12.50

I got this in the M&S Summer Beauty Box and it's quickly become my go to scent. I'm rubbish at describing scents but this has a fruity floral scent that isn't overpowering or anything, it really is sheer as the name would suggest. I find this lasts a really long time on me to.

Iconic Illuminating Drops* | £32.99

Who am I trying to kid, I've been using this all year. And I will definitely be taking them into summer. These are perfect for mixing with foundation to add a subtle radiance or over the top for something more intense. The latter is how I like to use them. These are intense but they some how look really natural! I just apply a few drops to the high points of my face and blend it in with my Beauty Blender.

Leighton Denny Nail Polish* | £12

Normally I'm a loyal Essie polish wearer but I think I've found a formula to rival them from Leighton Denny. The shade She's In Fashion is a bright Blue toned Pink. It makes me look so tanned so I will be wearing this loads in the summer. The formula is really good, it's opaque in Two coats and dries really quick. With a good top coat this lasts 2-3 days without chipping one. It may not sound like much but I really struggle with polishes chipping on me on the first day, so Two days is pretty good.

NYX Butter Gloss | £5,50

I'm a gloss girl all year round but there's just something about summer that calls for glosses. I've spoken loads about NYX butter glosses on my blog. But these are non-sticky, buttery and really comfortable on the lips. The shade Fortune Cookie is a Peachy nude that accompanies any summer makeup look really well.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
