Warming Bronzers That Are Perfect For Summer

Bronzers have come a long way since way back in the day. I remember most of them were this really dodgy Orange shade. And at the time I didn't care but looking back I must have looked super Orange! Luckily times have changed and there are so many good ones available so I thought I'd share my thoughts on my favourite ones.

I will say that I think finding your perfect shade of bronzer is all dependant on your skin tone and under tone. For reference I have a light - medium skin tone with a warm undertone.

Milani Baked Bronzer | £11

Milani is one of my favourite brands when it comes to powder formulas and this bronzer is a long standing favourite of mine. I have the shade Soleil which is a warm Bronze colour with Gold shimmer in it. The Gold shimmer isn't chunky or glittery on the face it just gives the skin a gorgeous glowing look. The undertone does lean slightly on the Orange side but I find it suits my skin tone so well! The pigmentation is spot on, it doesn't require build but it's not to pigmented you have to blend it out for hours.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer | £23

This is another long standing favourite. I have the shade Bronzed which is a matte and gives the skin a lovely bronzed effect. It's not to warm for my skin tone but if you have a Pink undertone you might find this a little much. The formula of this is so soft! It's really easy to work with, it blends with total ease. I personally wouldn't contour with this but as a bronzer it's perfect for adding warmth to the skin.

Vincent Longo Sun Kissed Bronzer |

Vincent Longo isn't actually available in the UK anymore but I think it's still available from MMCL Pro at a ridiculous discount price. I really recommend checking this bronzer out. I have the shade Sun-kissed. Which is a matte and has a slight Red under tone to it. I think this gives the skin the most natural sun kissed look because the skin goes a little Red when it has naturally caught the sun. In terms of formula this is probably the easiest to use! It takes minimal blending and meshes with my other base products perfectly.

NYX No Filter Powder | £11

Rounding up this post with my current favourite. Now this is actually a face powder but I brought it in the darkest shade to use as a bronzer. Because this is actually a face powder I find the formula perfect. It's finely milled and slightly on the sheer side. Which I prefer in bronzers, it makes them look a lot more natural as well as making them easier to work with. In terms of shade this is super warm and quite Orange but blending in this works really for me. I love the finish of this to! It has a slight radiance to it that makes my skin look healthy and alive.

Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite bronzers?

Until next time...
