Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer

My struggle with dark circles is well documented on my blog. I have numerous posts dedicated to covering them. Needless to say I have tried my fair few concealers in my time and it's one of my ride or die products. So when I was at a Charlotte Tilbury Launch event and I saw this concealer I was excited to say the least. I've been testing the concealer for a couple of weeks and I'm ready to share my thoughts.

First of all I love the Gold packaging and the fact it has a window to see how much product you have left. It has sponge like applicator similar to the Maybelline Age Rewind. This type applicator doesn't offend me but I know some people will be concerned about hygiene. But I guess if your the only person using it, it shouldn't be a problem. The applicator is large but has a tapered tip making it so easy to get into the corners of the eyes.

The brand claim this concealer is for all ages and skin types which is pretty impressive if it does work for all. The consistency of the concealer is not too watery nor really creamy. It kinda has a tackiness to it. But it still blends so easily and seamlessly into the skin. The coverage can be sheered out to light or built up to full. I find 3 layers is enough to cover my super bad dark circles. These doesn't set in a dry way nor does it cake up. I did notice a little creasing under my eyes as the day progressed but I'm yet to find a concealer that actually does not crease. It can also be reapplied throughout the day without going cakey too.

In terms of finish the concealer has a very lovely natural satin finish that looks luminous under the eyes. But not in a highlighted way just in healthy way, In a slept well kind of way. I love the finish.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this concealer. It definitely makes my dark circles and under eyes look a million times better. I'm sure most people would love this to!

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer launches on the 23rd August. in 16 shades.  You can sign up to be the first know here. Which I really recommend doing because there's a whole Pillow Talk collection coming that I cannot wait for.
